Royce Da 5’9 is having a great 2018 so far on the heels of releasing the critically acclaimed Book Of Ryan and his collaboration with DJ Premier, Prhyme 2. The Detroit rapper sat down with Rap-Up and broke down how Eminem helped him get sober, and a possible reunion of Bad Meets Evil among other gems.

From Rap-Up:

During a recent visit to Rap-Up HQ, Royce opened up about Em’s instrumental role in his sobriety. “Before I even decided to stop drinking,” explains Ryan. “He was like, ‘If you ever feel like you got a problem, you know you can call me, right?’ I was like, ‘What kinda problem?’ He was like, ‘Just with drinking.’ I was like, ‘Oh shit. Okay. Thank you, man. I appreciate that.’ It kind of bothered me for awhile, because I didn’t know if he was saying that he felt like I had a problem. What was he saying? But I felt like that was cool of him as a friend to try to take that step with me.”

Drake doesn’t look for trouble, but it seems like Trouble done found him. At least in this music video it did.

In the black-and-white clip to “Bring It Back,” Trouble travels from the strip club to a fancy hotel where Draked is holed up and enjoying some PlayStation 4 in his downtime alongside Mike Will Made-It. Sidenote: twerking in black-and-white cinematography isn’t appreciated enough.

Meanwhile Royce Da 5’9” links up with J. Cole and head to an amusement park for some good times in the J. Cole directed clip to “Boblo Boat.”

Kid Vishis ft. Royce Da 5’9 “Go Off,” Fetty Wap & Fli Fetti “Gotta Blast” & More | Daily Visuals 9.27.17

It’s a tricky situation for any rapper to call on Royce Da 5’9 for a feature because there’s a great chance he’s gonna outshine you on your own track. Royce wouldn’t do that to his own brother though, right?

Kid Vishis had no qualms about that reality though and in his Royce assisted clip to “Go Off” the two rappers/brothers set all kinds of things on fire. From records to basketballs, the opposite of H2O engulfs it all.

Fetty Wap hasn’t had a smash hit in a global warmed hot minute but yet he still balling out of control and making it rain in the club in his Fli Fetti assisted clip to “Gotta Blast.” Hope he got one of his peoples to pick them dollars up afterwards cause until he churns out another “Trap Queen” type hit he need to be holding onto his royalties.

Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Deniro Farrar, and K Camp & True Story Gee.
