Kanye West’s neighbor in NYC just struck what looks like a sweet deal to buy the rapper’s SoHo apartment. The pad is actually two adjacent spaces Ye purchased back in 2004 and 2006 — one for $ 1.89 million and other for $ 1.25 million … so, $ 3.14…

French luxury swimwear brand Eres is turning 50 this year. The company is rereleasing five of its signature bodies in new colors and patterns as part of a Reeditions capsule. It’s partnering with The Apartment by The Line, the New York store owned by Vanessa Traina, on a pop-up shop for the capsule in mid April.
This is the first time The Line is carrying Eres, a brand Traina has been eyeing for a while. “It’s a brand I’ve always dreamt of working with,” Traina said. “When we were building the foundations of The Line, it was built around items we all had in our closets. Eres certainly holds a prominent stake in my summer and year-round wardrobe.”
The Apartment is the only New York retailer that will carry the capsule, which consists of eight suits. Three of the shapes, the Sirene, Surligné and Niko, and two emblematic prints, the Playa and Miami, were reissued. “Women’s bodies changed, shapes changed but the more important change was the development of new fabrics with Elastane inside,” said Marie-Paule Minchelli, head of the design studio for Eres. “Eres used an exclusive fabric called Peau Douce, that’s the secret of our second skin effect.”
Apartments are getting smaller and smaller. To combat this ever shrinking urban dilemma, a company called ORI is building modular, movable and totally automatic furniture for people who live in cramped quarters.
Actors Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale have landed a charming 3-bedroom Brooklyn home with a gorgeous kitchen and hardwood floors throughout.
STRENGTH IN NUMBERS: Now in its seventh season, the Designers Apartment initiative, backed by the Chambre Syndicale, has become a fixture on the Paris schedule for many a buyer.
“In terms of new talent, I thought the Designer’s Apartment showroom was excellent,” said Macy’s group vice president and fashion director Nicole Fischelis. “The quality and the diversity and the integrity of the design from each of those designers was quite remarkable.”
This season the showroom gathers 11 young France-based designers at the Atelier Richelieu until Oct. 9, including three newcomers, A. Guery, Criloi and Victoria/Tomas.
Glenn Martens, designer for Y/Project, perhaps one of the most established brands showing, was attending for the fourth time.
“It’s very difficult to get a foot in the door as a young designer, and being backed by the Chambre Syndicale is a big help,” he said, specifying that the initiative was also useful for exchanging tips on issues like production and logistics between designers.
“A lot of good stores have come,” he added of the current session.
Iris Cantabri, showing for the fourth time, was offering a less conceptual collection than in the past in order to appeal to a broader audience, and had also dropped prices to an average of
The Greenwich Village home of Candace Bushnell, creator of the newspaper columns that inspired the popular “Sex and the City” series, may have found a buyer.
Bushnell listed the property at $ 2.6 million, and the real estate agency has labeled the home as in contract. Bushnell previously listed the pre-war apartment in 2012 for $ 2.8 million; it did not sell at that time.
The one-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath apartment is located at 45 East 9th Street, just a few blocks away from Washington Square Park. The building has a doorman, and the apartment has a wood-burning fireplace and tons of beautiful, natural light. There’s also a great room with a built-in bookcase, spacious dining room and a washer and dryer.
But best of all, the new owner will be able to imagine living in Bushnell’s shoes, writing about love, sex, friendship and more.

MILWAUKEE—Going above and beyond the simple proposition of a 12-month lease, a local Craigslist apartment listing reportedly sweetened the pot Tuesday with an offer to sell the current tenant’s nearly decade-old furniture, sources confirmed. “Got a couch, bookshelf, and a dining table that I’d be willing to sell—all slightly used but in decent condition,” read the highly tempting post, adding even further enticement to the already wildly attractive proposal by offering a modest discount to anyone willing to buy all three of the items, which were themselves purchased secondhand from the previous occupants in 2006. “Let me know if you’re interested. I’d be happy to just leave them here for you when I go.” The tantalizing listing reportedly went on to add an irresistible cherry on top by offering to leave behind an uneven, heavily scratched end table propped up by a thick wad …

CHICAGO—Sighing as he scanned the room and performed a mental tally of everyone he would invite, local 26-year-old Andrew Bryer sadly realized that his cramped one-bedroom apartment has enough space to host a party with all of his friends, sources confirmed Friday. “There’s really nowhere to sit other than the futon and a couple of stools, but honestly that’s probably plenty of seating for my college friends and my friends from work,” said Bryer, adding that his narrow galley kitchen would provide “plenty” of additional square footage should he also invite a few neighbors from his apartment building or if some of his hometown friends were visiting. “I guess if all of them brought their friends it might get a bit crowded, but the little entryway area would still provide enough overflow room for everyone. Or I could just push the coffee table against the wall. Jeez …
