50 Cent Puts Pause On Jim Jones IG Beef, Turns To Diddy & REVOLT

2003 MTV Video Music Awards - Show

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is overseeing a number of projects, which includes serving as an executive producer for the Starz network hit, Power. Taking time out of his busy schedule, the G-Unit mogul clowned Diddy and REVOLT while also propping up his series via Instagram.

“Hey l’m not ready to run a network but I’m already running Starz. what’s that sh*t you got called again puffy? Well l can help you fix that. LOL get the strap.#lecheminduroi #power,” Fif wrote Tuesday (July 3).

He followed with another post showing Diddy fighting with actor Colm Meaney in a still shot from the film Get Him To The Greek captioned with, “Come on man you can’t talk to puff any kinda way now the f*ck you think you me get the strap. #lecheminduroi.”

So far, Diddy hasn’t responded. Perhaps this means 50 Cent is ready to move on with his beef with Jim Jones now?

Get The Lawsuit: 50 Cent Sues HipHopDX Over Unauthorized Photo Use

'Power' Season 5 Premiere

Source: Nicholas Hunt / Getty

Earlier this week, popular Hip-Hop website HipHopDX found themselves on the wrong end of 50 Cent‘s legal attention after running a piece with an unauthorized photo. As he promised, the rapper and mogul filed a lawsuit against the site over the photo.

TMZ reports:

He’s filed suit against HipHopDX for its post about Fiddy allegedly selling his catchphrase, “Get the strap,” to Bellator MMA. We’ll get back to the catchphrase, but the rapper’s real issue is with the photo the blog used.

According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, the pic — showing 50 Cent with Bellator execs — was taken on June 25 by a guy named Christopher Conrad. 50 says Conrad gave him rights to the photo on June 28. His point … at no point did HipHopDX have rights to publish the pic.

The site posted an article on June 27, calling out 50 Cent for claiming he sold “Get the strap” to the MMA league for $ 1 million. That same day, 50 said, “This s**t is fake news Justin Ivey (the writer), you better go fact check. Matter of fact I’m gonna sue you and this website for using my picture.”

Might seem unfair to those outside the online journalism game, but that’s how it goes. Consent to use photos and buying snaps from reputable agencies is the safest way to go.

Teairra Mari Restraining Order Request Against 50 Cent Denied

Teairra Mari And Her Attorneys Lisa Bloom And Walter Mosely Hold Press Conference About New Legal Action Against 50 Cent And Akbar Abdul-Ahad

Source: Frederick M. Brown / Getty

Teairra Mari attempted to get justice for the revenge porn exposure that was allegedly enacted by her ex-boyfriend and ridiculed by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson via Instagram. Mari, with the help of her attorney Lisa Bloom, attempted to get a restraining order against Fif but the request was denied by the judge.

TMZ reports:

As we reported … Teairra went after her ex, Akbar Abdul-Ahad, and his friend, 50, claiming they teamed up to spread images of her on Instagram that included Teairra with ejaculate all over her face.

She went to court to get a restraining order against them to stop sharing the photo … but the judge has now denied that motion. And according to Lisa Bloom, the judge denied the request “because she was not convinced that the photo 50 Cent posted, with ejaculate on our client’s face, showed her ‘engaging’ in a sexual act.”

It wasn’t reported what Bloom’s next move would be but Abdul-Ahad is due in court over the matter later this month.

50 Cent Talks Bankruptcy, Praise For Eminem & More

'Power' Season 3 New York Premiere

Source: Desiree Navarro / Getty

Now considered an elder statesman in Hip-Hop, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has long since found success in lanes outside the music business, and there still appears to be gas left in that tank as well. In a new Q&A interview, Fif breaks down why bankruptcy was a breeze, his praise of Eminem, and much more.

Sitting down with The Guardian, the Den Of Thieves actor has been chopping it up in media circles of late while promoting the film while also remaining an active force on social media.

In the Q&A, 50 opens first about how acting allows him a bit of escapism from his tough guy music persona. He also goes on to admit he learned the craft of acting and handling epic business deals by way of studious observation. The Power star also gave heavy praise to Eminem, who gave 50 a huge look in breaking up out into the world via Shady Records.

“Eminem will always be my guy. I love him to death [Eminem discovered 50 Cent, and produced his first album]. What he did for me – and maybe me for him, in a way – I can’t quantify,” 50 said.

50 Cent Made Millions Off Of Bitcoin, Allegedly

50 Cent famously caught a sizeable bag when Vitamin Water was purchased by Coca-Cola. Now, word is Fif caught another lick off Bitcoin before it got all trendy.

Reports TMZ:

“Rewind to 2014 and 50’s album, “Animal Ambition,” when the rapper became the first to accept bitcoin — which was then valued at around $ 662/bitcoin — as payment for his work. We’re told customers could get a copy of the album for just a fraction of a whole bitcoin.

Our sources say “Animal Ambition” pulled in about 700 bitcoin in sales … over $ 400k. We’re told the cryptocurrency sat dormant in his account for years.

Fast-forward to today — when bitcoin’s value has fluctuated between $ 10k and $ 12k per coin. Turns out 50 is a money genius … sitting on anywhere between $ 7 million and $ 8.5 million.

The market has steadily declined over the last few weeks, so 50 might wanna think about unloading soon while the gettin’s still good.”

50’s creditors may want to holla at him right quick.

Just saying.

50 Cent Confirms ‘Street King Immortal’ Album Is On The Way, Claims It’s A Heater

While 50 Cent has made a name for himself outside of Rap with Power and Effen Vodka he still plans to make a musical comeback. He has confirmed Street King Immortal is still in the works.

In a recent profile, the New York Times followed the Queens native to see how he spends his Sundays. During the nine-hour span Fif’ details how he incorporates studio time in his work day

“On most Sundays, I go into the studio to record my music and meet my producers there. There are no windows so it’s very easy to lose track of time. I could be there six hours and not even feel it. Right now I’m in the middle of recording my sixth album, but it’s as thrilling as my first,” he explained.

Originally set for a 2011 release, Street King Immortal has faced several delays as singles such as “My Life” and “New Day” failed to hit at radio. Additionally SKI was set to be his final album at Interscope Records but the two parties were not seeing eye to eye on the project further hampering its’ momentum.

50 also reveals he is releasing a champagne next year and tries to hit the gym twice on Sundays due to his hectic schedule during the week. You can read the entire feature here.

Irv Gotti Claps At 50 Cent, Says BET Show 50 Central Is “Bullsh*t”

Irv Gotti and 50 Cent will never be friends, this much was made clear when the Murder, Inc. boss went at the G-Unit General recently online. In a long-running beef that’s been going on for years. Gotti threw a shot at Fif’s newest BET show, 50 Central, calling the comedy series “bullsh*t” in the process.

Gotta posted an Instagram video post of him and Ja Rule gracing an older cover of XXL, opening his caption by saying the pair were recently having a discussion. The feud between 50 and Ja has been well-documented, and Gotti made sure to remind the readers that it’s never going to be all good with him and his side regarding his fellow Queens rival.

From Irv Gotti’s IG:

You know I was speaking to my brother @ruleyorkcity and we was talking about things. And he inspired me to let things be known. As y’all know. The whore been saying he is gonna get Tales off BET. I did not watch that bullsh*t. But I seen and heard what was being said. That it’s garbage. It’s awkward.

Gotti then proceeded to make mention that his series, Tales, will be making its season debut on Oct. 10, while issuing a ton of not-so-veiled threats at 50. So far, 50 hasn’t responded as he did when Gotti first started going at his head, so stayed tuned as this is sure to only get uglier.

Well, maybe not literally but in the visuals to Young Thug’s “Relationship,” he and Future take it back to the VHS era when home camcorders captured young women doing the most and recorded the kind of behavior that they’d have a hard time explaining to their future children.

Rick Ross In His Feelings Over Meek Mill & 50 Cent Breaking Bread?

Rick Ross and his feud with the eternally petty 50 Cent hasn’t dominated the news hits for either artist, but a tweet from the Maybach Music Group boss might suggest there’s a new wave going. On Sunday, Rozay posted a tweet that seemed to suggest he wasn’t feeling the fact his artist Meek Mill and Fif recently rocked the stage in Miami together.

Last Friday in Las Vegas, Houston Rockets All-Star James Harden hosted a star-studded bash for his 27th birthday that featured 50 Cent, Meek Mill, Chance The Rapper, Young Jeezy, and Trey Songz in the surprise show. At one point during the set, Mill joined Fif onstage to perform the opening and title cut from his 2012 debut studio album Dreams and Nightmares according to a Hot New Hip Hop report.

Ross’ tweet could have been about anything, but there seemed to be an edge to the words.

“When you switch sides, you better stay there, Ross tweeted. Yikes.

It could just be a coincidental case but Rick Ross is a man that values loyalty over everything so maybe there’s more to come from this ominous jab in the dark.

50 Cent, Vivica A. Fox And The Absurdity Of Hip-Hop Homophobia

On a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” Vivica A. Fox, set to play Cookie’s sister in an upcoming episode of “Empire,” was asked to weigh in on ex-boyfriend 50 Cent’s alleged comments about the show. The rapper reportedly reposted a blog which suggested the ratings for the FOX drama have dipped because of the “gay stuff,” ostensibly referring to the relationship between Jamal and his boyfriend Michael.

“First of all, you know… pot calling the kettle black. That’s all I’m saying,” Fox responded.

When host Andy Cohen asked Fox (who dated 50 Cent in 2003) to unpack her statement — specifically the suggestion that the rapper is gay – she smiled and said, “He’s not. We had a great time. I mean, he just seems like he’s got something that’s not quite clear,” she said. She also referenced a magazine cover featuring 50 Cent and rapper Soulja Boy, adding that 50 looked like ”a booty snatcher” in the photo.

It wasn’t long before 50 Cent took a few shots at Fox on Twitter and Instagram, making fun of her looks and divulging intimate details about the former couple’s sex life. “Oh no!! Now she thinks I’m gay because I let her lick my ass,” wrote on his Instagram. “Wait, I didn’t want her to, she forced me, my hands were tied. 50 Shades of Grey.”

The whole saga, which has been playing out on social media to the glee of Black Twitter, is a perfect example of the absurdity of hip-hop homophobia. Now, it’s important to remember that homophobia is not exclusive to the hip-hop and black communities. The narrative that black people are somehow more homophobic than any other group is a false one

But the way that this homophobia manifests in hip-hop is still worth examining — and calling out. The feud has now sparked a debate within Black Twitter about “booty eating,” whether men who receive and like it should be suspected of being gay. On the one hand, the fact that black people and hip-hop lovers are discussing this is great. On the other, it’s unfortunate that a totally natural part of sex is under this kind of scrutiny.

The spectacle of this feud just detracts from the conversation that we actually should be having; why hip-hop figures (like Eminem, or Waka Flocka) still feel empowered to make publicly homophobic comments.

There have been rumors about 50 Cent’s sexuality in the past, which Fox was very likely aware of when she made her comments on “Watch What Happens Live.” That 50 Cent felt the need to lash out at Fox via Instagram is disappointing, especially since his insistence that he was “forced” by Fox comes off as his way of assuring us all that his masculinity is still intact.

Both 50 Cent and Fox’s comments and actions have been petty, but on a larger scale they’ve also been damaging to the dialogue surrounding black male sexuality.

Equally disappointing, though, are the comments Fox made about the rapper to begin with. Fox took the intimate relationship between herself and the rapper and weaponized it against him. She was responding to his homophobic comments about “Empire,” a show she is set to appear on later this season, a show whose creator is an openly gay man and a powerful player in Hollywood. But rather than simply saying “no comment,” or unpack why 50 Cent’s suggestion was problematic, she chose to retaliate by trying to “out” him.

Both 50 Cent and Fox’s comments and actions have been petty, but on a larger scale they’ve also been damaging to the dialogue surrounding black male sexuality.  Black masculinity is constantly threatened, undermined, and scrutinized, and comments like those made by Fox do nothing to push the conversation about how to be more inclusive of LGBT people in hip-hop forward. While she may have thought she was just throwing “shade,” what she was really doing was once again perpetuating a stereotype that we desperately need to get away from.

50 Cent Reacts To Empire Diss: “F*ck Empire, Tell Em’ We Said” [VIDEO]

Similar to Donnie McClurkin, 50 Cent was an unsolicited name drop on yesterday’s premiere for the second season of FOX’s Empire. While it is unknown whether or not the Power executive producer was tuned in like 16 million other people, it’s a definite that the news he was mentioned got back to him.

At the start of the show, Taraji P. Henson’s character Cookie Lyon glanced at her phone and spat “50 Cent still taking jabs at us. Look at what he put on the ‘Gram. Thirsty-ass,” a direct response to all the social media outbursts the G-Unit boss has fired at his primetime rival.

With the opportunity for a story like this one here too good to pass up, 50 took to his Instagram while in the studio and gave several responses.

“Can’t believe Cookie would say some shit like that about me,” he said, pretending to be astonished. “Thirsty, me? Thirsty? C’mon. You stupid?”

In another he seen he quotes: “Man, me and Cookie go way back,” he says. “You know I hit that.” It’s unclear whether he’s talking about his Power character Kanan in a parallel universe or the actual Curtis Jackson at this point, but whatever.

He also posted a meme of Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora as Ghost and Tommy with a caption that read, “F*ck Empire, tell em’ we said” and another video where he pretended to be Empire’s director a.k.a. Lee Daniels and was very explicit in making sure the man-to-man kiss scenes were on point.

It’s all in good fun for the sport of competition. Hit the next two pages for more of the 50 Cent Empire comedy hour.

Judge Orders 50 Cent Trial To Continue Despite Bankruptcy

Just about everyone figured 50 Cent filing for bankruptcy was a ploy to get out of paying Rick Ross’ baby mama,Lastonia Leviston, $ 5M for leaking her sex tape. Well, it didn’t work.

The New York Post reports that federal Judge Ann Nevins didn’t go for Fif’s hard luck story of starting from the bottom and rising to the Hip-Hop that his lawyer laid out in court documents.

Says the New York Post:

“It is easy to forget that Mr. Jackson grew up in poverty in South Jamaica, a rough neighborhood of Queens, New York,” papers submitted in the Connecticut bankruptcy court by the rapper’s lawyer say.

“His single mother was murdered when Mr. Jackson was only 8 years old,” attorney Patrick Neligan Jr. wrote. “As a boy, Mr. Jackson dreamed of being a boxer, but by the time he was a teenager, he was caught up in a life of crime.”

But Jackson turned his life around after being shot nine times in 2000.

“After recovering from his injuries, Mr. Jackson determined to improve his life and focused on his music,” the papers trumpet, explaining he went on to become a multi-platinum artist who “typifies the American dream” and even became a philanthropist, feeding poor children and helping 9/11 victims.

Already on the hook for $ 5M the trial to see if Leviston gets any more money for punitive damages begins on Monday, July 20.

50 Cent Talks Making Fun Of Himself, Warns Others About Clowning His Bankruptcy Situation

(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent is known for cracking jokes on his fellow rappers, but the G-Unit boss is not afraid to clown himself as well. After the world found out he has filed for bankruptcy, the Queens representative posted a picture on Instagram making fun of the situation.

Yesterday (July 14), 50 was a guest on ESPN2’s His & Hers. Hosts Michael Smith and Jemele Hill asked Fif about his IG picture.

“If you do it to other people, you can’t take yourself that serious. People love tragedy,” said 50. “It’s like the way they’d put LeBron’s face up after the championship. But you was just rooting for LeBron, right? Because it was feeling like he was gonna win it by himself.”

The producer of the hit Starz program Power would not go into much detail about filing for bankruptcy, but 50 did offer a slick warning to any of his rivals that may want to use the situation to send shots his way.

“I watch people do it, and you let them enjoy themselves for a moment. Then it starts to shift, because they realize [me filing for bankruptcy is] not what they think it is,” added 50. “I just watch to see which one of them says something, because I’m gonna see you in a little bit.”

50 Cent Ordered To Pay $5 Million Over Sex Vid With Rick Ross’ Baby Mom

50 Cent has been ordered to pay $ 5 million in damages for posting the sex video of his adversary Rick Ross’s ex on the internet.

The rapper posted the video after receiving it from the male in the movie and added his own colorful commentary under the humorous guise Pimpin’ Curly.

50 and his legal team were reportedly disappointed at the legal loss.

The tape was acquired by 50 Cent in 2008 and then-boyfriend of Lastonia Leviston gave it to the mogul, stating to the rapper than she would not be upset at the video. He was wrong. Mortified, Leviston filed a multimillion dollar invasion-of-privacy lawsuit.

“This was something done to me. I didn’t have a choice. I would never, ever do this to myself,” Leviston said.

50 Cent Ordered To Pay $5M To Rick Ross’ Baby Mama

It looks like in the battle between 50 Cent and Rick Ross, it’s the latter’s baby mama who really came up. Fif has been ordered to pay $ 5M to Lastonia Leviston for posting her sex tape online

Actually, that’s $ 5M (half for her privacy being violated and half for emotional distress) at the minimum…

Reports Page Six:

The “Poor Lil’ Rich” performer 50 Cent has to pay a Florida woman over $ 5 million for posting her private sex video online as part of his rap beef with rival Rick Ross.

The whopping verdict came down after the four-woman, two-man jury deliberated for only an hour and ten minutes toward the end of a five-week trial Friday.

Now Jackson may have to appear in court next week with his net worth statement in hand so the jury can decide on additional, punitive damages.

The jurors found that the woman, Ross’ baby mama Lastonia Leviston, suffered “severe emotional distress” when the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, narrated the video calling her a “slut” and “motherf–king porn star.”

They also decided that Jackson had profited off the posting that was linked to his website ThisIs50.com. The posting violated Leviston’s privacy rights, the jurors found.

We’re not doubting 50 has the coin to pay up, but $ 5M is $ 5M no matter who you are. Leviston’s lawyer reportedly wants 50 to share his tax returns for the past five years to get a handle on how much he is really worth.

It was Maurice Murray, Leviston’s ex, who sold the explicit video to 50.

“Maurice broke her heart and 50 Cent ruined her life,”  said Leviston’s lawyer, Philip Freidin, during his closing statement.

Safe bet Leviston’s life just got a little brighter.

By 50 Cent as Told to Ashley Weatherford

A decade after his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, 50 Cent is a very different man. He’s eschewed his trademark bulletproof vest for tailored suits (or no shirt at all, if you consider his most recent campaign for underwear brand Frigo), acts now more than he raps (he’ll join Jake Gyllenhaal in Southpaw this summer and has a leading role in Starz’s crime drama Power), and launched health brand SK Energy shots. The Cut spoke with 50 Cent about his surprising admiration of Floyd Mayweather, how he staves off boredom at the gym, and why he always surrounds himself with cheese.

How I start my day: It fluctuates, but this morning I got up at 7 a.m. to be at the gym by 7:30 a.m. I usually wake up at 9 a.m. to be at the gym by 10 a.m. I’ll have liquid protein before the gym. I’m not really a breakfast person. Like this morning, I was like: I’m not hungry yet. I was still wiping my eyes at the gym. When I do have breakfast, it’s at 11 a.m. I’ll train and go to the office by 11:15 a.m. If it’s a press day, a stylist meets me there to figure out what I have to wear, and after I get dressed, I make my way over to start publicity and professional stuff.

How I like to sweat: I have a trainer because it’s easier for me to take my mind off of how much I’m doing. If you concentrate too hard and you’re writing down how many sets you did, then you’ll only do a few and feel like you did enough. Without the trainer, I’d be walking around, looking at people, and listening to music. I could sit there for two hours and do half the work. When I go to the gym casually without him, it doesn’t feel like a workout. I’m not really into lifting heavy weights, but using smaller weights as cardio. It keeps your heart rate higher and I keep track of my heart rate on my tablet to make sure it stays high. I only take 30 seconds of recovery.

To me, wellness is: Just being conscious of your physical [body]. When I work out, I feel better. Everything about me — my spirits — is just in a different space. Because I do it before work hours, it gives me a chance to think about everything that’s in front of me for the day. Like me, females will go towards cardio. They’ll go for cardio work and while they’re there, it gives them a chance to think for a while.

Related: Jordana Brewster on Chocolate Pizza, ‘Uplifting Podcasts,’ and Being Well

How wellness has changed for me: Watching professional fighters and their process changed everything for me. I don’t care how out of shape they are, they can make weight. [Editor’s note: Boxers frequently gain or lose weight to fight within a particular weight class. It’s referred to as “making weight.”] They’re training to perform on the highest level. In four weeks, you can see a guy who’s 180 pounds drop to 154 pounds. Like Floyd [Mayweather], he’s naturally 147 pounds, and he’ll fight at 152 or 154. He has Fatburgers during training camp. He doesn’t even like to stretch. Before his fight with Ortiz, we were in Orlando together and I was like, “Yo, when are you going to start [training]?” This was two in the morning in the nightclub. He goes: “I’ll start tonight.” When we left the nightclub, he pulled around the corner, put his clothes on in the backseat, and ran six miles.

My biggest wellness struggle is
: Dieting. It is the toughest part and the most important part. Usually, when people try to lose weight, they start eating less and it’s the exact opposite of what they’re supposed to be doing. You’re supposed to be continuously eating. If you eat one meal a day, like a salad, your body is just holding onto the fat from the dressing because it’s in survival mode. People don’t make the adjustments well.

How I eat when I’m alone: I can have a cheese sandwich and feel like it’s a full-on meal. That’s what was in the house when I was growing up. If you ask my grandma, she’ll tell you I like cranberry juice and that cheese always has to be around.

Related: Can Lemon Water Really Help You Lose Weight?

My wellness advice is: To be conscious of what you think is the best version of yourself. To create those goals and not necessarily feel like you have to do it the first day you go to the gym. What happens is, people will go in, they’ll train hard, and it will hurt. The recovery process will make you not want to come back tomorrow. If they haven’t stopped by GNC to get something that will help them recover, or they’re not taking any amino acids or something that would help them not feel completely fatigued following their workout, then there’s going to be a point when they won’t show up to the gym anymore. Also, trying to adjust to a healthier lifestyle. Child obesity in America is an extreme issue. It’s because kids are at the computer or on Playstation instead of at the park. Creating situations where kids can be active and physical is also the responsibility of the parents. If there are things like organized sports, they can actually get in and get out and get moving.

So when MediaTakeOut jumped out in front and posted the anticipated debut of LaLa Anthony’s breasts, he reacted just like the master of litigation we all know him as.

“Shout out to MediaTakeOut for showing La La some love and showing her scene early,” 50 Cent says in a video posted on ForbezDVDPromo’s YouTube page. “For doing that, I’m not gonna take it personal, so don’t take it personal with me when they sue you ’til you blue in the face,” he said with a smile.

After the video made its rounds around the Internet, the gossip publication snatched it down with the quickness.

The G-Unit gorilla doesn’t mess around with websites he personally doesn’t approve of. In March of 2014, he won a lawsuit against WorldStarHipHop.com for copyright infringement. MTO had better lawyer up just as a safety precaution.

50 Cent Claims SMS Promotions Owes Him $2.3 Million

For years, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has been displaying a level of business savvy that has led the Queens rapper to mogul status. But the magic he’s been able to wield before fizzled with his boxing company, SMS Promotions, which 50 Cent says owes him $ 2.3 million in back loans.

Website theJasmineBRAND.com got the exclusive scoop on Jackson’s issues with SMS Promotions, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May. In original court filings, the company owed creditors around $ 100,000 to $ 600,000 in debt. Back at the time of the filing, SMS Promotions had intentions of remaining open for business and that the Chapter 11 was a move to reorganize the structure. However, thers’s more to this story according the most recent moves in court.

From theJasmineBRAND.com:

However, it appears that things are a lot worse than originally envisioned for the boxing company. According to newly filed court docs — obtained exclusively by theJasmineBRAND.com — in the bankruptcy SMS Promotions amended the amount of debt they owe to $ 2.3 million dollars versus the original $ 100-600k estimate.

The amended schedules show that along with the $ 2.3 million in liabilities the company only has $ 644,903 in assets. The majority of the assets the company has are in the form of gym equipment which totals $ 540,404 … along with $ 9k in a checking account and $ 1k+ in petty cash.

SMS Promotions liabilities include $ 32k owed on a lease agreement, $ 2.3 million owed to Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent in unsecured loans along with various other creditors.

No other announcements regarding future business with SMS Promotions has been formally introduced. 50 Cent has not made any public comments surrounding the matter.

50 Cent: “Why Buy TIDAL To Get Something That Would Be Everywhere Else?” [VIDEO]

50 Cent recently sat down for an interview with Letty & DJ Damage of REAL 92.3 for their “The Realest” segment. One interesting point of discussion was Ferrari’s take on Jay Z’s TIDAL music streaming service.

It turns out Fif wasn’t invited to be a TIDAL owner by Hova, which he thinks wasn’t the smartest of moves since he owns his catalog.

“Probably we could’ve did something more exciting if they reached out,” said 50. “Because the people that you saw there don’t even own the rights to their music. So they can’t say it’s just gonna come out TIDAL. It has to go everywhere. So why would you actually buy TIDAL to get something that would be everywhere else?”

Also, not so quiet as kept, 50 Cent is a big Drake fan. Peep the full interview below.

Joe Budden Calls Power Petty & 50 Cent Responds

Photo via Joe Budden’s Instagram

As if 50 Cent’s rants about how Empire is a Hip Hop Glee, a rip off Power, his Instagram posts last night, and the slick shady Power promo commercials weren’t enough, 50 Cent is also going after any rapper that has anything to say about his show Power too. Lol. Joe Budden quoted one of Power’s promo taglines from last night tweeting “Empires are built on Power… They Petty”. 50 Cent responded with a “What you say b*tch.. I thought we was cool.” tweet. The two made up as Budden stated that Power is his favorite show and 50 blamed vodka for making him “forget” that that was a line from last night’s show.
