It would be impossible to hate on the creative genius of Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino at this point but during an early point in his career, he caught some hate from a comedic figure some consider a legend of the field. In a new profile from The New Yorker, it came out that Glover’s Community co-star Chevy Chase made racist quips among other standout moments in the piece.
From the New Yorker:
Chevy Chase, one of Glover’s co-stars, often tried to disrupt his scenes and made racial cracks between takes. (“People think you’re funnier because you’re black.”) [Community creator Dan] Harmon said, “Chevy was the first to realize how immensely gifted Donald was, and the way he expressed his jealousy was to try to throw Donald off. I remember apologizing to Donald after a particularly rough night of Chevy’s non-P.C. verbiage, and Donald said, ‘I don’t even worry about it.’ ” Glover told me, “I just saw Chevy as fighting time—a true artist has to be O.K. with his reign being over. I can’t help him if he’s thrashing in the water. But I know there’s a human in there somewhere—he’s almost too human.” (Chase said, “I am saddened to hear that Donald perceived me in that light.”) Glover quit in the fifth season, too bored to do it anymore.

Rating “Black Mirror” against its own creative resume, the latest batch of a half-dozen installments — which Netflix will drop right before New Year’s — offers more of a mixed bag than usual, with two or three standouts and the rest conceptually interesting but rather ho-hum affairs.
Meanwhile, Juicy J’s “Rubba Band Business: The Album” falls short … very short.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black were all laughs when they sat down with Access Hollywood in Hawaii. The “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” stars cracked jokes about shooting the film on the island and Kevin’s recent marathon.
Never mind a belly laugh, how about a bowel laugh?
Canadian news anchor Rich Abney told a poop joke on air recently, and judging by the clip he certainly amused himself.
Abney cracked the joke after his CKPG-TV co-anchor Aileen Machell pitched a nice, slow floater about a veggie garden being grown aboard the International Space Station as “agriculture that’s out of this world.”
The joke prompted Abney to quip, “it seems like a better idea than eating food grown on Uranus.” He stifled a mischievous laugh as his coworkers flashed him a constipated smile.
Somewhere, Abney, you just made a group of 8-year-old boys very, very happy.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Apple's abrupt about-face on paying royalties for songs during a three-month free-trial period for its new music service was a symbolic victory for superstar Taylor Swift and other artists, and a shrewd business move by Apple, at a time when the streaming phenomenon is causing major changes in the music industry.
She’s got one less problem without “Ew!”
Ariana Grande joined Jimmy Fallon, aka Sara (without an H because H’s are ew), as the latest BFF on “Ew!” this Friday, and she just couldn’t keep it together. But to be honest, can you blame her?
The singer nearly made it through the skit. Grande did a hilarious sing-off, there was a crazy intrusion from Sara’s stepdad, Gary, and more ridiculous antics until finally came the “Ew Speed Round.”
This is the part where she breaks up, and she can’t resist it no more.
“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
