Frances Valentine Opens Pop-up, Offers Kate Spade-Inspired Special-Edition Items

Five months after the death of Kate Spade, the company she helped to start, Frances Valentine, is moving forward with its first retail venture — a Madison Avenue pop-up store.
Spade’s suicide in June at the age of 55 shocked the fashion community and the team at Frances Valentine has quietly been trying to carry on. Going into retail was always part of the business plan, according to chief executive officer Elyce Arons.
Asked how the company approaches such a delicate and complicated situation with care and without being exploitive, Arons said, “For us, it is our way of honoring Katie and keeping her spirit alive. We have a really small team in the office and it hit us all really hard. That first week, we had so many customers and friends of the brand write in — people who had known her a long, long time and people we had never met, who said please keep going — you have to keep her designs alive.”

‘Rodarte’ Opens at National Museum of Women in the Arts

The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C., has never done a fashion exhibition. For its first, it chose to focus on two living American designers who have owned and operated their label independently from its inception. The exhibition, titled simply “Rodarte,” opens Nov. 10 and runs through Feb. 10, 2019, showcasing nearly 100 pieces from 18 collections by Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the sisters who started their California-based label 13 years ago.
This is not the first time a museum has come calling to feature the Mulleavys’ work — the Cooper Hewitt staged a show on Rodarte in 2010, as did the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles the following year — but the National Museum of Women in the Arts’ show is Rodarte’s biggest yet. Guest curator Jill D’Alessandro, who oversees costume and textile arts at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, worked with the Mulleavys to break down their collections into recurring themes: Early Innovations, Magical Beautiful Horror, Woodshock, Black Swan, Texture, Northern California Roadmap, Light and The Garden. The pieces are displayed in full, original runway looks with hair by Odile Gilbert and an installation by Rafael de Cardenas/Architecture at Large.

Linda Farrow Eyewear Opens Latest Boutique in Los Angeles

U.K.-based luxury eyewear brand Linda Farrow today opens its third U.S. stand-alone store at 8409 Melrose Place in Los Angeles. The store follows Bal Harbour and New York locations opened within the last 18 months, reinforcing the brand’s presence in the U.S. The brand dabbled in the L.A. retail scene with a pop-up at Platform in Culver City.
The store follows the same creative direction as the units in New York and Miami, embracing femininity and masculinity, light, texture and color, all within 1,055 square feet. Founder and creative director Simon Jablon worked closely on the store’s identity to create an atmosphere of earthy luxury within a compact footprint.

David Mallett Opens New York Salon at The Webster

David Mallett is bringing his signature brand of Parisian-chic hairdressing to New York.
Mallett, an Australian native whose taxidermy-filled eponymous salon in the Second Arrondissement is something of a fashion insider institution in Paris, is set to open a third location — his first in the U.S. and first outside Paris — on the top floor of Laure Hériard Dubreuil’s The Webster in SoHo, on Oct. 16.
The 1,600-square-foot space will operate as a full-service, eight-chair salon, with color, cutting, styling and treatment services overseen by Mallett himself and staffed by longtime employees of his Paris salons, including two hairdressers, two colorists and a client director. Mallett, who opened his second outpost at The Ritz Paris in 2016, will split his time between New York and Paris going forward.
The salon on the fifth floor of The Webster was designed by French architect Charles Zana to replicate the style of Mallett’s Paris salons, which are inspired by French-style craftsmanship. Lamps, furniture and other decor were custom-made for The Webster by François Pouenat, a fifth-generation French artisan metalworker. This felt like the underlying message relayed by Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. executives speaking before a crowded room of journalists gathered for a Uniqlo exhibit about knitwear in Paris. People squeezed into the entrance of the show, a wide room covered with dangling wheels of colored wool, the hues arranged like a giant, three-dimensional rainbow.
Held at the Jeu de Paume museum in Paris, the show runs from Wednesday through Saturday. It’s a sort of ephemeral pop-up experience from the Japanese label, which touts the exhibit as its first, as it joins the growing ranks of brands aiming to pull in new consumers by telling people how their stuff is made.
“The Art and Science of LifeWear” features a knitting machine in action, building a sweater dress before the public. It then takes visitors through a life of a sweater through photos, showing inspection stages and the factory hanger system, finishing with the final residue removal, done by hand. Another room is covered with rows of outfits, some outfitted with knit hats, scarves and gloves.
Closing the exhibit is a pop-up shop, complete with a cash register, featuring collaborations with Andrea Crews—airport themed, with sweaters stamped “Paris”

Balmain Opens Miami Flagship

PARIS — Looking to bolster its retail and wholesale channels across the United States, Balmain, ahead of Art Basel Miami Beach, has cut the ribbon on a 2,220-square-foot Miami flagship located at Bal Harbour Shops. Next month will see the opening of a 1,555-square-foot Las Vegas boutique, set within a wing of the Wynn Plaza.
Conceived by Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing in partnership with three young architects from Paris’ Studio AMV — Anna Philippou, Marie-Charlotte Prosperi-Fouchard and Victoire Guerlay — the interior design for both stores was based on the brand’s Milan flagship, which opened in April. The direction channels the codes of the classic Parisian hôtel particulier while integrating hi-tech features, such as the My City of Lights virtual reality concept that debuted in Milan.

Pioneering Los Angeles retailer H.Lorenzo continues to expand its footprint with the opening of a new men’s wear boutique at 8700 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood. The new concept will be H.Lorenzo’s fourth location in L.A.
Founder Lorenzo Hadar and his wife opened their first boutique, La Mirage, on Sunset Boulevard in 1982. The first H. Marquee Brands Opens Second NYC BCBGMaxAzria Store

The new BCBGMaxAzria store at 77 Mercer Street in SoHo features the brand’s updated modern store concept and layout.
The space totals 5,200 square feet, and is large enough to house the full range of the brand’s extensive product offerings that include sportswear, dresses, shoes, handbags and jewelry, as well as its new denim line.

Muytjens Switches Gears, Opens Inn in Berkshires

Frank Muytjens has traded fashion for hospitality.
The former men’s chief has partnered with artist and entrepreneur Scott Edward Cole to open a luxury bed-and-breakfast inn in the Berkshires. Called the Inn at Kenmore Hall, it will open today.
The inn at 1385 State Road in Richmond, Mass., is a 6,675-square-foot, 18th-century estate that has been restored and modernized while conserving its historical Georgian architecture. It sits on 20 acres of woodlands, orchards and gardens in a town that is around two-and-a-half hours from Manhattan and one-and-a-half hours from Boston.
The inn will have five luxury rooms, each with a working wood-burning fireplace. There is also a one-bedroom carriage house suite with living room, kitchenette, sleeper sofa and private outdoor seating area. Pricing ranges from $ 450 to $ 650 a night.
“The minute we saw the property, we both knew that it would be our next endeavor,” Muytjens said. “Scott and I love the fact that the house has fostered so many artistic explorations. The deep-rooted creative history, combined with the stunning classical proportions of the Georgian architecture, is grand but not imposing. We have worked to preserve the architectural integrity, but imbue the inn with modern luxury.”

SMCP Opens 100th Store in Mainland China

MORE IN STORE: While retailers around the world settle into retrenchment mode, SMCP, the owner of Maje, Sandro and Claudie Pierlot, is on a different track, opening its 100th shop in China, with plans for more.
Store number 100 is a Maje boutique in the Chaoyang Joy City mall.
“It’s gone by very quickly in mainland China — our first store opened at the end of 2013 — it hasn’t been five years yet,” said chief executive officer Daniel Lalonde in a telephone interview.
The French company is controlled by Chinese textile conglomerate Shandong Ruyi Group and was listed on the French stock market last October, a move intended to fund debt payments and fuel international expansion.
Despite the fast-paced growth, the company still counts fewer stores than other luxury brands in China, added Lalonde, noting that Sandro and Maje each have around 45 stores. At just over 1,000 square feet, the stores are typically smaller than those of larger luxury labels, he added.
“We’re a little bit at the beginning of the story,” noted Lalonde who has plans to have as many stores in greater China as has in France, which counts nearly 500, within the next five to seven years.

Isabel Marant Opens First Store in Amsterdam

CUTTING THE RIBBON: Isabel Marant is breaking into new territory with the opening of her first store in Amsterdam. The standalone boutique, which had a soft opening last month, is located in the city’s Oud-Zuid district. Neighbors include the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum and luxury labels such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Hermès.
For the interiors, Marant’s studio collaborated with a group of young European designers and artisans who drew inspiration from the Sixties French experimental movement. There are cutout patches on the ceiling, protruding blocks that showcase the accessories and a wall carved in the shape of Marant’s signature 90 Degree earrings.
Exposed brick walls from the original building give the store a vintage industrial feel that mirrors the brand’s boho chic aesthetic. Fitting rooms are screened off with Japanese paper while corked tables and hand-carved pine podiums are scattered around the store.
Hanging bars display Marant’s latest collection, all of which she has personally tried on to ensure the pieces’ wearability. The new store is part of Marant’s rapid-fire retail expansion and is part of a bid to extend her network across Europe, Beijing and Hong Kong. The designer now has a total of 28 stores worldwide.

Mental toughness is needed in sports. You’re competing against people who work just as hard as you, and the act of simply knowing in your bones that you can indeed beat them is sometimes all it takes to put you over. But with the ups and downs of the NBA, it can be tough, and Cleveland Cavalier Kevin Love has come out about his battles with mental health.

In a self-penned essay for The Player’s Tribune, the 29 year old opens up about the very first panic attack he suffered on November 5, during the third quarter of a game against the Atlanta Hawks. It was a combination of family issues and the terrible start the Cavs got off to this season that left him with his heart racing, unable to catch his breath and running back to the locker room in a panic. He said that, just like with the rest of the population, there’s a stigma about mental health and professional athletes that prevents them from discussing it.

“For 29 years, I thought about mental health as someone else’s problem,” Love wrote. “Sure, I knew on some level that some people benefited from asking for help or opening up. I just never thought it was for me. To me, it was a form of weakness that could derail my success in sports or make me seem weird or different.”

In the infamous January 22 meeting where Isaiah Thomas challenged Love’s commitment to the game, Love came clean to the team about the panic attacks he’s been dealing with and how it has affected his game.

Soon after Love’s essay was published, LeBron James praised his teammate’s honesty, saying it made him even stronger.

Love felt even more comfortable admitting his struggle with panic attacks after Toronto Raptor DeMar DeRozan opened up about his struggle with depression. “I’ve played against DeMar for years, but I never could’ve guessed that he was struggling with anything. It really makes you think about how we are all walking around with experiences and struggles,” Love wrote.

Louis Vuitton Opens Sneaker Pop-Up in New York

Ugly sneakers have stampeded into luxury fashion to become the improbable “it” shoe in the last year. So much so that Louis Vuitton, where Nicolas Ghesquiere introduced the Nineties sci-fi Archlight with a generously proportioned cushy sole for spring, is opening a pop-up shop specifically devoted to the style for a month in New York City. The temporary store will open at 122 Greene Street in SoHo on Thursday in advance of the worldwide launch of the Archlight sneaker on Feb. 23. The store will remain open until March 10. The SoHo space, chosen because the sneaker clientele tends to be a downtown crowd, and designed by the Louis Vuitton team, will be the only sneaker pop-up — the house has done fragrance pop-ups in the past — and will carry an exclusive all-black colorway of the style. Sneakers aren’t new for Vuitton but the Archlight was a major statement on Ghesquiere’s spring runway, shown in contrast to the elaborate 18th-century inspired ready-to-wear pieces.

The Louis Vuitton Archlight sneaker in all black will be exclusive to the SoHo pop-up.

Gatorade Opens G-Store Pop Up In NYC [Photos]

New York City has an all things Gatorade pop up in town. The G-Store is made to look like an all Gatorade everything convenience store, but has a hidden stockroom where visitors will learn about the science behind the brand and take in some sports culture, too.

Once participants enter a store they are handed a tablet to explore Gatorade products. After completing some simple tasks, they will granted access to the backroom, where the fun really is.

First up is Gatorade Sports Science Institute scientist demos used to develop and cater to athletes followed a space where trainer Joe Holder leads workouts. Heading deeper into the room is where renowned designer Dante Beals and his the Fashion Firm (DJ Clark Kent stopped by to check his Chicago peeps) set up shop to hook up participants and attendees with tailor-made schwag.

Finally is a photo studio set up for Jay-Z photographer Raven Varono aka Ravie B to take portraits. The dope experience lasts one more day (Jan. 25) and is in Greenwich Village at 9 West 8th Street and open from 12pm to 8pm.

Theory Opens Palm Beach Store at Royal Poinciana Plaza

THEORY’S PALM BEACH PAD: Theory is diving deeper into the South Florida market. The contemporary brand today opened its second freestanding store in Florida at Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach. Spanning 1,300 square feet, the boutique houses women’s, men’s and accessories collections.
The store features a series of arches and natural materials to reflect the region’s colonial architectural heritage. Theory’s other South Florida store is located in Miami’s Design District. The company, which has more than 225 stores globally, declined to give first-year sales projections.
The Royal Poinciana is a land-marked 60-year-old, 180,000-square-foot, open-air setting in Palm Beach, Fla., designed by architect John Volk. Among the tenants are Saint Laurent, Hermès, Kirna Zabête, Haute Yoga, Joey Wölffer, Cremieux, Assouline, Beach 100% Capri, Cynthia Rowley and Palm Beach Grill.

Boucheron Opens Vendôrama Show With Evening Event

MINGLING AT THE MINT: Guests at Boucheron’s interactive Vendôrama anniversary exhibit began their journey at the back door of the 18th-century Hôtel de la Monnaie. Who would guess that it would open on to a graffitied tunnel?
The uninitiated might be forgiven for missing the references in the tags: 1858 — that would be the year the house founder Frédéric Boucheron opened his first store — and Quatre for the jewelry line launched in 2004.
Inside a temporary exhibit space sitting in the courtyard, visitors were served up a mix of screens, live actors, and jewelry displays, set amidst rich green foliage including ivy — a traditional inspiration for the house. Even the guidebook was interactive, with pages folding out to reveal details of the jewelry on display.
“There’s a rock ‘n roll feel to it that I like,” said Charlotte Rampling, noting the unexpected presentation style, as the lighting on a collection of Quatre rings suddenly switched off behind her, making them disappear for a spell.
On one wall, guests could snap metal beads onto a giant replica of the asymmetrical Question Mark necklace—and have their photo taken there — while a display of Serpent Bohème necklaces jutted out of a tall, red lacquered

For its seventh edition of its talent call, the influential retailer’s buying team will head to the city in January to scout emerging designers, brands, and artistic talent across a wide variety of categories.
The Los Angeles hunt marks the the seventh edition of the incubator, first launched in 2015, and is the first time it has been extended outside of China. Conceived to help revolutionize Lane Crawford’s buying model, brands that do not present their collections in traditional markets, showrooms, and fashion weeks will have an opportunity to connect directly, and it also targets creatives such as photographers, stylists, writers and multimedia content creators.
Applications, which are open now, are submitted via the Lane Crawford website with a judging panel scheduled at the 3.1 Phillip Lim on Third Street from Jan. 24 to 26. Once accepted, participants will get access to a range of benefits and career support from Lane Crawford’s team of experts.

LVMH Opens Applications for Fifth Edition of LVMH Prize

OPEN CALL: LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has opened applications for the fifth edition of its LVMH Prize for young fashion designers.
Candidates have until Feb. 4 to submit their applications on the web site lvmhprize.com, the French luxury conglomerate said on Friday. The winner, decided by a jury including LVMH’s top designers, will walk away with a cash prize of 300,000 euros plus a year of coaching from experts at LVMH.
Launched in 2013 and spearheaded by Delphine Arnault, second-in-command at Louis Vuitton and a key talent scout at the luxury group her family controls, the prize is open to designers under age 40 who have presented and sold at least two collections of men’s or women’s ready-to-wear.
The past four winners of the main prize are Marine Serre, Grace Wales Bonner, Marques’Almeida and Thomas Tait, and the award has also boosted the careers of its runner-up special-prize winners: Kozaburo Akasaka, Vejas, Jacquemus, Hood by Air and Miuniku.
LVMH also rewards three graduates from fashion schools. They will each receive 10,000 euros and will join one of the group’s houses for one year.
Last year’s edition drew 1,250 applications from 90 countries, with 21 semi-finalists invited to show their work during Paris Fashion Week

Hourglass Opens East Coast Flagship

HOURGLASS HEADS EAST: Following an acquisition by Unilever in June, Hourglass is about to open its second freestanding door. On Dec. 9, the 830-square-foot space — which also serves as the brand’s East Coast flagship — will bow at 42 Crosby Street between Broome and Spring Streets in Manhattan’s SoHo. While “technically smaller” than its first store on Abbott Kinney in Venice, Calif., Hourglass founder and chief executive officer Carisa Janes called the boutique an “evolution” of the 13-year-old brand.
“We’ve been really focused on creating a visual image in this [store],” said Janes of the space, which was designed by O’Neil Langan Architects and includes decor elements like Calacatta marble, champagne gold metal finishes, black concrete and walnut wood and floor-to-ceiling screens.
“We’ve taken what is iconic about our brand — from packaging to storytelling to different concepts that weave throughout Hourglass — and brought those to life through this space with sculptural elements, video and product,” she continued.
While the SoHo shop has similar elements to its West Coast counterpart — including the custom Ambient Lighting Bar that lets consumers build their own highlighter palettes and various makeup services — a handful of features, products and services will make their debuts

Hermès Opens Final ‘Hermesmatic’ Pop-Up at Westfield Century City

Los Angeles was the final stop for Hermès’ latest pop-up venture, the Hermèsmatic dip-dye scarf concept shop. The 1,200-square-foor space in Westfield Century City, a permanent rotating retail space in the newly-rennovated mall, debuted with cocktail party on Friday night and remains open daily through Nov. 19.
Among the guests at the festive affair were Alex Israel, Amy Zhang, Bettina Korek, China Chow, Danielle Beinstein, Dorothy Wang, Izak Rappaort, Jacey Duprie. NEW ARRIVALS: As Seoul Fashion Week drew to a close, 10 of its most promising designer names made their way to London to launch K-Fashion, a new pop-up at Selfridges aimed at spotlighting the best of South Korean design.
The designers created exclusive capsules for the pop-up, which is housed in the women’s designer galleries, on the store’s second floor.
Among the labels on show are Moohong and D-Antidote, which embrace a streetwear sensibility; Nohke, which stands out for its tailored outerwear, Munn, Push Button, Bourie, D.Gnak, Blindness and Resurrection.
Kuho Jung, Seoul Fashion Week’s executive director, said the group of designers, called “10 Soul,” was chosen by a committee that included international and local professionals.
Jung has been spearheading a number of initiatives in order to expose Seoul’s designers to an international audience and has hosted similar events in Milan and Paris.
He said he was drawn to London and to Selfridges, given their international appeal and the opportunity to have direct contact with customers through the pop-up space.

TURNING THE PAGE: French leather goods brand Camille Fournet is opening a new chapter in its history with a revamped brand identity, a duo of ambassadors and a renovated Parisian flagship to be unveiled on Oct 19.

BOMBSHELL: Ayler Young’s buzzy line of bombers is set to go on tour.
Young’s Philip Ayler brand of bomber jackets, made in Los Angeles from rare fabrics he sources all over the world, opened a shop-in-shop inside Young’s Frank’s Chop Shop barbershop on Melrose Avenue. The designer repurposed the shop’s former pool table room, totaling about 250 square feet, for a jacket bar to showcase about 45 styles, many of which are exclusive to the Melrose location.
“It’s a selection of some of the rarest jackets I have,” Young said. “It’s a place where people can come try the jackets on and have some fun looking at the fabrics.”
The space features a hand-painted houndstooth design on the walls in a nod to many of his jackets featuring the same print, black tile floors and an illuminated Philip Ayler sign.
The Melrose store, which is a longer-term location, will be followed by a series of pop-up trunk shows over the next three to four months in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Young said he is in the midst of organizing those events, which he hopes will build greater awareness of the brand.

Ali & Jay Opens First Permanent Store

PROOF OF CONCEPT: Contemporary brand Ali & Jay has moved forward with permanent retail following last year’s pop-up tests.
The Los Angeles label, which shares a parent with Bailey44 in The Bailey Group, launched last year as an entry-level contemporary dress brand that’s sought to fill the gap between fast-fashion and traditional contemporary pricing.
The 700-square-foot permanent store at Westfield Century City will mirror the pop-up concepts the company tested in Malibu and Santa Monica by carrying third-party brands in addition to its own.
“I think that our pop-up’s journey through L.A. was a fun test for us as an L.A.-based brand to explore different neighborhoods,” said Ali & Jay general manager Melissa Niednagel, who added that Century City reflects a central location for shoppers.
The brand is also evolving from being simply a dress line as a result of its pop-ups where it heard from consumers what they wanted. Adidas Opens Largest Originals Store Globally in Chicago With Focus on Local Community

Thursday’s opening of the Adidas Originals flagship in Chicago will be the largest in the world, and the seventh one in the U.S.
With nearly 5,000 square feet of shoppable space, the 10,000-square-foot store at 1532 North Milwaukee Avenue is taking a hyper-local approach. In the never-ending chase to bridge the online community with the in-store experience, the company is playing up the city’s heritage through design accents. A fitting room reflects the materials and route of the L train, with walls wrapped with ribbed brush steel reminiscent of the elevated line’s cars. There is also a bench that is modeled after the ones found in all CTA stations.
The city’s transit system was also the inspiration for custom signs displayed throughout the store, which are similar to the ones displayed on the L train line and in its stations. The Adidas versions direct shoppers to silhouettes from the brand’s past, highlighting the year each model made its debut and other information. Wednesday night’s opening party, featured performances from BJ The Chicago Kid, Knox Fortune and DJ ELZ. The site is near two other streetwear and sneaker stores, RSVP Gallery and Saint Alfred.

Isaia Opens San Francisco Store in Frank Lloyd Wright Building

Italian luxury men’s wear brand Isaia has opened a boutique in San Francisco, its third Stateside, located in the historic Frank Lloyd Wright building at 140 Maiden Lane that was one of the original blueprints for the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Formerly home to the V.C. Morris Gift Shop, the store boasts 7,900 square feet of space, with 4,000 square feet dedicated to retail sales, incorporating a bevy of unique design elements.
“It is all about the space,” said Gianluca Isaia, chief executive officer and third generation of the family-run company. “We kept the integrity of every design feature intact. As an update to the store’s existing beauty, we focused on adding a color-sensitive lighting schematic, sound system and the styling of our product to complete the experience. It was much like restoring a masterful piece of art to its glory and giving it a new personality.”
Taking over a landmarked building was no small task, because none of the original materials could be touched or modified, including the original wall plaster, millwork, trim, flooring railings, bubbled ceilings and, of course, the brick and stone façade. Quay Australia Opens First Store in Orange County; Hollywood to Follow

Melbourne-based sunglass brand Quay Australia, whose collaboration with Kylie Jenner launched over the summer, has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Orange County, Calif.’s Brea Mall.
“We decided to open our first shop in California because it’s a sunny state and one of our largest markets. California is also where Quay Australia first planted roots in the United States,” said general manager Joanna Scully. The brand started marketing itself on the music festival circuit in Austalia 10 years ago and has recently amassed a following among U.S. influencers such as Jasmine Sanders and Jenner, who are both based in Los Angeles and have collaborated on oversized styles with the brand. The past summer Quay Australia also exhibited at the WWDMAGIC show in Las Vegas.
The first shop is an interactive and dynamic destination that invites customers to try on the entire assortment, more than 150 styles for women and men, that pops against the clean white canvas of the space. OPEN CALL: Walpole has opened nominations for the 16th edition of its 2017 British Luxury Awards, to be held at London’s Dorchester hotel on Nov. 20. The industry event showcases British luxury brands’ craftsmanship, design and innovation with nominations open until Sept. 8.
Categories will include cultural experience, British luxury brand of the year, maker of the year, luxury with a heart, commitment to British manufacturing, excellence in exporting British luxury, digital, innovation and creativity, brands of tomorrow award for emerging talent, leader in luxury, international luxury brand of the year and lifetime achievement.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Opens Up About His Battle With Depression

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently shared some inspiring words to encourage others battling with depression.

“I found that, with depression, one of the most important things you could realize is that you’re not alone,” Johnson said on the OWN network’s “Oprah’s Master Class” series. “You’re not the first to go through it; you’re not going to be the last to go through it … I wish I had someone at that time who could just pull me aside and [say], ‘Hey, it’s gonna be OK. It’ll be OK.'”

“Hold on to that fundamental quality of faith,” the 43-year-old movie star said. “Have faith that on the other side of your pain is something good.”

According to OWN, Johnson struggled with depression in his early 20s as his football career began to flounder.

After graduating from the University of Miami, where he played for the football team, Johnson was passed over by the NFL. He was cut from the Calgary Stampeders, a Canadian Football League team, after just two months on the practice roster.

Then 23 and living with his parents in a small apartment, Johnson said he hit a real low point.

“You just feel like you’re alone. You feel like it’s only you. You’re in your bubble.”

It was only after deciding to quit football for good that Johnson said he began building a new life for himself as a professional wrestler.

With the help of his dad, a pro wrestler himself, Johnson would go on to become the WWE superstar known as “The Rock.” 

“It wound up being one of the greatest chapters in my life,” he said.

In a series of intimate monologues released by OWN, Johnson has revealed much about his personal life.

In another “Master Class” clip, the wrestler-turned-actor described how at the age of 15, he saved his mother’s life. He also opened up about his relationship with his daughter, and about the philosophy behind his persona as “The Rock.”

Johnson’s full ”Oprah’s Master Class” interview aired Sunday on OWN.

Veterans Affairs Opens First Clinic For Transgender Service Members

The Department of Veterans Affairs opened its first health care clinic dedicated to transgender service members on Wednesday.

Housed within the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in Ohio, the clinic will offer primary care services alongside hormonal therapy and mental health care. The VA center, which provides care to more than 112,000 people, is currently treating around two dozen transgender patients.

The clinic will be officially opened on Thursday with a ceremony.

The Human Rights Campaign noted there are an estimated 15,500 transgender service members in active duty, and 134,000 trans veterans.

The Pentagon continues to ban transgender troops from serving openly, but that policy is expected to be lifted sometime next year. Vice President Joe Biden announced his support for an end to the ban last month during the Human Rights Campaign’s annual dinner.

“No longer is there any question transgender people are able to serve in the United States military,” Biden said.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has also announced her strong support for transgender troops and veterans.

“We need to say with one voice that transgender people are valued,” Clinton told a group at the Human Rights Campaign. “They are loved, and they are us.”

Calls to the Louis Stokes Medical Center and the VA were not immediately returned.

Comedian Who Lied About Surviving 9/11 Opens Up For The First Time

Comedian Steve Rannazzisi, in his first public comments since he was exposed for lying he was in the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attacks, explained how he believed his deception protected him from “cruel” fellow comedians and defined his career.

Rannazzisi, star of “The League,” apologized Tuesday during a 40-minute interview on Howard Stern’s radio show and addressed last months’ New York Times story that revealed he wasn’t working in the Merrill Lynch office on the 54th floor of the World Trade Center south tower when the north tower was hit. Rannazzisi recounted the fake experience to interviewers for years and claimed the ordeal motivated him to follow his dreams of being an entertainer.

“Do you think of yourself as psychologically disturbed? How do you view yourself after doing this thing?” Stern asked.

“Psychologically disturbed — I don’t know if that’s the way to put it,” Rannazzisi said. “I do see someone and am starting to figure out more about myself: codependency and wanting people to like me and to make people happy.”

The “why” is still unclear, he said.

“It wasn’t calculated at all,” he said. “It was as simple as sitting at the Comedy Store and everyone being like, ‘Hey, you’re from New York?’ ‘Yeah.’ ‘Were you just there? You were around?’ ‘Yeah, I was downtown.’ ‘You worked there?’ ‘Yeah, I did.’”

Within seconds, Rannazzisi said he felt he couldn’t set the record straight.  

“You have like 15 seconds, I think, to kind of go, ‘Wait, hold on. Stop. I’m sorry. That’s not true.'” he said. “If you pass that 15 seconds … now, it becomes a thing where you’re like, ‘Now, I have to be the guy that’s very strange and weird and just said I lied about 9/11.’”

Once the fake story gained traction, Rannazzisi said the resulting sympathy gave him security in the brutal comedy community.

“I think it might have been like, comedians are cruel people, especially in the beginning,” he said. “And I kind of was like, well maybe people will not be as mean to me or not make as many jokes about me because they think that this is what I went through.”

When the Times confronted him last month with conflicting versions of his 9/11 story, Rannazzisi responded with a statement confirming that he had lied. The confession may be damning to his career, but he said he feels relief and is glad he can finally apologize.

“I know what I did was terrible, and I know that I hurt a lot of people — people that lost people, people that helped people survive — and those people, those are the people that I truly am sorry,” he said. “That’s why I wanted to come on here.”

Illustrious LA Graffiti Artist “RISK” Opens Art Gallery

Recently iconic graffiti artist RISK announced that he will be opening an art gallery in Santa Monica, California just a few miles from the beach. The gallery has taken on the name of the, Buckshot Art Gallery and will feature a mixture of urban and fine art. The gallery is set to have its first exhibition on October 17th this year and will launch with an online e-commerce site to sell prints and original works of art online.

Kelly Graval, also known as RISK, has been synonymous with the Los Angeles art community for decades and the multi-talented fine artist, illustrator, and graffiti artist has become a world-renowned graffiti legend after putting in 30 years of work in the graf game. If you know anything about that, it’s a life filled with dodging the law, tagging trains and is one of the essential elements of Hip-Hop according to KRS-ONE.

But, RISK has come a long way since he pioneered the painting of freeway overpasses, signs and billboards, dubbed “heavens.” Although RISK loves aerosol art, he sees it as, “just one genre in his life’s work.” From his days as a student at the USC School of Fine Arts to gallery and museum showings around the world, RISK has transformed from a street artist to a respected icon in the contemporary art world.

The partnership includes Kevin Zinger and Ivory Daniel from Regime Management, a well-known entertainment management firm, and local entrepreneurs/philanthropists Howard Spunt and Bryan Spunt.

Future Opens Up About Ciara And His Relationship With Drake And Meek Mill

Whether it’s about his no. 1 album, Dirty Sprite 2, or his bad blood with his ex-fiancee Ciara, Future remains the talk of the town. The Freebandz rep is XXL’s latest cover star and opened up not only about his beef with Ciara but the feud between his two hip-hop comrades, Drake and Meek Mill.

When it comes to Ciara and her boyfriend Russell Wilson, Future claims that he does not have an issue with Wilson being around his son, but he feels Ciara does certain things in the spotlight out of spite.

“I’m telling you right now, I’m giving you two sides. Like, I’m cool with it. I’m cool with him being around him but certain situations, we all in the public eye, you can’t move around with my son a certain kind of way, you know what I’m saying? I feel like a lot of moves are just made out of just being evil, basically. Because, you know, the success of my album and you still want to make certain moves to take the spotlight off me a little bit and shed light on a negative situation. Why would you want to put light on a negative situation? Even if I didn’t care about it, the people have a way of looking at it. Why would you want to give these people an opinion on our kid? Fewtch also said that he never got to know Wilson, which is another gripe he has with CiCi.

That’s not the life I want for my child. I want to be involved 100 percent in all decisions made. This my flesh and blood. If I don’t want him to do something, there’s supposed to [be a] compromise or we supposed to talk about it. You not supposed to just go behind my back and do it. This is my son, too.”

As for the tension between Drizzy and Meek, the “Honest” rapper said he has love for both of them but didn’t comment on their beef or Meek’s claims that Drake doesn’t write his own rhymes.

“On some real shit, I love Meek. And the Drake situation, I feel like genuinely we’ve been building a great relationship over these years. We got history together. We went on a few tours together so it was like, publicly, some things was said and it was took out of context. And even with the situation coming out, we put it all behind us, went on a sold out tour and we built from that and I feel like it’s genuine, it’s authentic and we built trust between each other. So with trust it’s just bringing us closer because in this industry, as you get bigger, I feel like you lose trust for everyone around you. You feel like the people you come in contact with, you can’t trust them. So I feel like it had to happen over years, that couldn’t happen over a few months.”

Future just dropped a joint project with Drake, What A Time To Be Alive, which is projected to sell over 500,000 copies its first week.

Riccardo Tisci Opens Up About Givenchy Opening to the Public

New York’s huddled fashion masses are brimming with hope. Hope for a seat at the upcoming Givenchy event after news broke on Monday night that the house will open the golden door of its spring 2016 show to 1,200 of the most unusual suspects — non-industry, civilian members of the public.
“Opening to the public was my dream for many, many years,” says creative director Riccardo Tisci on Tuesday. Just back from holiday (and recovery from a diving-induced ear infection) and newly re-immersed in his collection prep, Tisci took a break for a long-distance phone call.
Having a significant general-public contingent in the audience became an essential element almost as soon as the decision was made in June to accept the CFDA’s invitation to show in New York. The move embraces much that Tisci’s Givenchy stands for, combining the designer’s penchant for contrast — more typically applied to sartorial élan than audience demographics — and populist engagement in high fashion. Though Trinidad carnival has been over for months now, the country’s primer raptress, Nicki Minaj, was still playing mas, taking to the MTV VMA stage in a festoon of feathers that was part Carnival Queen, part Josephine Baker banana skirt, and part Coming to America African dance.

Wearing fluffy boots to stalk and a sky-scraping Vegas-style headdress during her performance of “Trini Dem Girls,” Minaj’s vibrant blood red costume was a flurry of strategically placed feathers and sequins. Perhaps she was still seething over the incendiary comments Miley Cyrus made in a recent interview—which the ever-confrontational rapper publicly addressed moments after accepting her award for Best Rap Video. Whatever the case, being red with rage never looked better.

Comme des Garçons Pocket Shop Opens in New York

HOW CONVENIENT: Pocket, Rei Kawakubo‘s answer to the bodega, lands in New York City today at 112 10th Avenue. Comme des Garçons said it likens the Pocket concept, which launched in Tokyo department stores in 2007, to a modern-day convenience store for “pocket-sized items that you don’t have to think about too much and can buy on a whim.” That means mostly the Play, Wallets and Parfum collections.
Adrian Joffe, president of Comme des Garçons International, said the concept “celebrates the ease, efficiency and affordability of a convenience store.”
This is the first freestanding Pocket in the United States. There are now 30 Pocket shops worldwide in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand, as well as Singapore, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and Melbourne. The company’s Dover Street Market stores also have dedicated Pocket spaces, as does its Comme des Garçons store in Chelsea.

Mandarin Oriental Opens in Milan

ORIENTAL TOUCH: The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group inaugurated its newest property, in Milan, on Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Located on Via Andegari, a short walk from Milan’s luxury shopping street Via Montenapoleone and the arty Brera district, the hotel is housed in four redeveloped 18th-century buildings. The property offers 73 rooms and 31 suites, the informal Mandarin Bar and the Seta restaurant, both of which are open to the public.
The hotel’s spa covers 9,867 square feet, featuring six treatment rooms for holistic treatments and Thai massage, a gym and an indoor pool, as well as a hair and beauty salon.
Combining Italian contemporary design with oriental luxury, the interior design concept was conceived by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel Interiors, which also worked on the Bulgari Hotel in Dubai.
The Mandarin Oriental chain includes 45 hotels in 24 countries, including Asia, the Americas and Europe.

Vince Staples Opens The Sprite Corner In NYC With Concert

On Thursday (July 16), the Sprite Corner opened up shop in NYC with a private concert by Long Beach rapper Vince Staples. Before hitting the stage, he took part in a Q&A with Miss Info while the small crowd also enjoyed opening acts Bishop Nehru and Joey Fatts.

Located at 188 Bowery (on the corner of Spring Street) in New York City, The Sprite Corner is pop-up experience that features all Sprite everything with a store front made to look like a bodega.

Staples’ private concert—he performed cuts from his Summertime ’06 album—was the first of a number of events that will go down at the venue over the next two months. Programming will include cooking classes with Eddie Huang, freestyle battles, movies screenings, comedy shows and more.

Jazz exhibit opens with ‘music you can see’ in Chicago

"Native Son" by Terry Adkins at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago on July 10, 2015Experimental jazz collides with avant-garde visual pieces in a vibrant exhibit which opened Saturday at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. The Freedom Principle, as the exhibit is called, also includes a series of concerts that will culminate in a 25-hour marathon performance when it closes in November. It combines works by progressive black artists of the 1960s — who were influenced by the creative collaboration and improvisation of experimental music — with pieces by contemporary artists from around the world.

Lorenzo Lamas Opens Up About His Greatest Regret

In the ’80s and ’90s Lorenzo Lamas was, by all accounts, a Hollywood success. As the son of two actors, Lamas had become passionate about acting at a young age. He landed a supporting role in “Grease” at age 19, and by the time he was 23, he was starring in the popular primetime series “Falcon Crest.” After that show’s nine-year run, Lamas moved on to another series, the crime drama “Renegade,” and continued to appear in various films and TV guest spots as his schedule allowed. In short, Lamas always found himself working hard, and he was enjoying the momentum in his career.

Then, things began to change. The television roles became spotty, the movie offers slowed down and work felt like it had come to a halt. Today, Lamas has turned his attention away from the entertainment business and now works as a helicopter pilot for a tour company in California. But back when he was in his prime as an actor, Lamas never anticipated having to make any type of career move.

“My greatest regret would be that I took my success for granted, because it was given to me at such a young age,” he tells “Oprah: Where Are They Now — Extra” in the above video. “I thought my acting career was going to just last forever — and I didn’t plan on it ending at 41, 42 years of age.”

Not going from one acting job to another was a strange adjustment for Lamas during that time. “I consistently worked from my early twenties,” he says. “I always had another series to go to or movies that were hiring me.”

Of course, when the work slowed, Lamas’ income took a hit. He has reportedly filed for bankruptcy twice, and looks back on his career struggles with a much different perspective than he had at the height of his success.

“It was a very difficult lesson to learn at 40 years old,” Lamas admits. “My regret would be not to have prepared more for [my career ending]. In other words: Put some money away and not spend it so… frivolously on boats and airplanes and houses behind gates, and all that stuff that really doesn’t matter.”

Jane Lynch Opens Up About (Not) Coming Out And Why She Thinks Some Actors Are Still Closeted

“I didn’t have a coming out moment,” Jane Lynch said matter-of-factly when I spoke with her. The openly lesbian actress had her big career breakthrough at the age of 50, in her role as cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in “Glee,” for which she won an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe.

“I’m an actor and when people started taking an interest in me, where they wanted to write about me, I didn’t say I wasn’t gay, so — I never had that,” she continued in interview with me on SiriusXM Progress. “And I have to give kudos to people like Melissa Etheridge and k.d lang and Ellen Degeneres and Rosie O’Donnell, all of those people who came before and at the height of their career, when they had a lot to lose, stood up and said this is who I am. And the world kind of went [gasps]…and then, nothing happened. That was really great and they kind of cleared a path for me to just stroll down.”

Lynch stars this fall in a new CBS comedy series, “Angel from Hell,” but she’s currently making the media rounds promoting the third season of NBC’s “Hollywood Game Night,” which debuted this week and which she hosts. The game show pits celebrities against one another, playing party games and winning money for charity. The executive producer is actor Sean Hayes, the former “Will and Grace” star who himself came out as gay in 2010.

“[He’s] a friend and is notorious for his own game nights at his house, where you go from room to room,” Lynch explained, describing how she got involved in the show. ”He makes up the games. He makes up the rules. It was always a really cool, eclectic combination of people. So he had the grand idea — because he’s a big producer now — to bring it to NBC. And they took the bait and he asked me to host.”

Lynch relishes the fact that she and other out actors — many of whom, like Zachary Quinto and Jesse Tyler Ferguson have been contestants on “Hollywood Game Night” — offer visibility to so many young people who are struggling, just by being out.

“There are still parts of the country where it’s hard, when you realize you’re gay, it’s like a death sentence,” she said. “And to give those kids some hope, I love that.”

Lynch appears to disagree with actresses like Ellen Page, who came out last year at the age of 27, declaring that Hollywood is often “eroding your soul” if you’re LGBT, pressuring actors to stay in the closet by telegraphing to them that, “it’s the right thing to do for your career.”

Asked why many actors are still closeted, Lynch replied, “Everybody has their own way to deal with it. I don’t concern myself with other people’s — whether or not they want to come out, it’s not something for me think about.”

And what does it say about the industry that so many feel they must remain in the closet?

“I don’t know what it says,” she responded.”That says more about them than it does about anything, [or], I think, a meta statement to be made. Everybody has their own psychology, their own issues, their own subconscious material. For me to make a broad statement — it’s like outing people. I think that was a horrible thing. You might be dealing with a very fragile part of someone’s psyche. So I think everybody has to go their own path.”

Lynch says she for one wasn’t ever advised that she should stay in the closet for the sake of her career.

“No — never came up,” she said. “And also, you know, it wasn’t the ‘50s and it wasn’t the ‘60s… That’s ridiculous, in this day and age, if somebody’s telling somebody not to [come out]. I know that there are some people who are religious [who stay in the closet]. Perhaps they have issues. Like I said, everybody’s subconscious material is their own stuff.”

Fashion’s Favorite Yoga Instructor Opens a New Chinatown Studio

Models, actresses, and many a Vogue editor swear by the yoga classes Krissy Jones has been teaching out of a private studio in SoHo. Jones, who trained as a dancer, specializes in a blend of Katonah yoga—itself a hybrid of traditional hatha yoga, pranayama breathing techniques, and Taoist teachings—with active vinyasa sequences that result in “a bit richer of a practice,” she says.

Now Jones has partnered with her fellow teacher and Katonah trainee, Chloe Kernaghan, to open Sky Ting Yoga, an airy, light-filled new Chinatown studio offering a menu of classes as dynamic and challenging as their own. “All of the teachers are rock star teachers and have followings,” Jones says. “We kind of curated the schedule so that I’d [want to] go to anybody’s class.” Also on offer are workshops and exotic yoga retreats—upcoming trips include an August jaunt to Turkey and a December sailing tour of Thailand—which Jones promises will offer “a balance between yoga and vacation life.” The studio’s name reflects this unpretentious attitude: Though ting is Chinese for place, “we also like it because it sounds kind of Jamaican,” Jones explains. “We don’t really chant or ‘om’ or do much of that. We’re a little more accessible and teach to the present-day New Yorker who just needs to chill out and do some backbends from being on a computer all day.”

The 2,000-square-foot duplex space, which opens July 10, features a rotating selection of artwork (first up are photographs and paintings by Nick Poe, who designed the space, and Thomas McDonell), a plant-filled practice room complete with stuffed giraffe mascot, and a roof deck for meditation sessions and workshops. An on-site boutique will sell chic yoga gear from Nike and Live The Process, and natural beauty products from Ben Shen. And the nearby health-conscious hangout Dimes—whose fashionable fans are bound to be Sky Ting regulars—has signed on to provide to-go meals and snacks. “We’re hoping to give the community a place to hang out,” Jones says. “You’ll want to be here all day.”

Louis Vuitton Opens Private Museum Near Paris

ASNIERES-SUR-SEINE, France — Louis Vuitton is opening its second private museum in less than a year. But unlike the monumental Frank Gehry-designed Louis Vuitton Foundation in the Bois de Boulogne on the western edge of Paris, its new venture has a more intimate feel.
Dubbed La Galerie, the 6,500-square-foot exhibition space is located on the historic Louis Vuitton grounds in the northern suburb of Asnières-sur-Seine, which also houses the former family home and the workshops where the luxury brand still produces its most exclusive made-to-order items.
Inaugurated on Sunday with a garden party, the invitation-only exhibit was curated by Judith Clark, a professor of fashion and museology who has previously worked on shows about brands including Chloé and personalities such as Frida Kahlo and Diana Vreeland.
“We wanted it to be perceived very much as a gallery intervention,” Clark said during a preview tour of the venue. “It’s like an installation reflecting on the idea of exhibiting the Vuitton archive. It’s intended to be kind of slightly disruptive in that way.”
Spread over two floors are around 400 objects and documents from the house’s archive of 26,000 objects and 165,000 documents. They range from couturier Paul Poiret’s trunk to items from the Vuitton family’s

Adam Lambert Opens Up About His Love Life, But Don’t Expect To See Him On Grindr

Adam Lambert opened up about his love life — or, rather, lack thereof — in an interview with HuffPost Live on Wednesday.

“I haven’t dated in a minute,” the star, who split from boyfriend Sauli Koskinen in 2013, said. As it turns out, the release of his hotly-anticipated new album, “The Original High,” has kept Lambert busier than ever. “I’m dating my album, I keep saying. We’re having a very exclusive relationship.”

Noting that he hasn’t “had a minute of social time” in a “non-stop” month of album promotion, Lambert said he’s always able to find ways to stay social despite being single. Just don’t expect him to turn to Grindr to spice up his personal life.

“Ew,” he quipped, after a viewer asked if he was on the popular gay social app.

The 33-year-old also took the time to recall navigating “American Idol” before he’d come out as gay in the media.

“I can guarantee if any of the judges had asked me about my personal life or my preference, I would’ve been an open book. But it just never came up,” Lambert, who came out to friends and family at 18, said.

PIONEERING TEXAS: The Lone Star State is the next target market for Benefit Cosmetics LLC.
“I think Texas in general is going to be a great market for us,” said Lisa Edwards, vice president of retail, at last month’s opening party for the Benefit store at The Plaza at Preston Center in Dallas. “We wanted to start with Dallas. It seems like such a beauty market.”
Located steps from a well-trafficked Sprinkles bakery and across from the Ylang 23 jewelry boutique, the 890-square-foot store is Benefit’s 27th nationwide. It offers brow waxing and threading, body waxing and spray tanning in addition to the full line. A division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton since 1999, Benefit has 86 overseas stores as well as distribution in Macy’s, Sephora and Ulta.
Benefit targets a new U.S. market each year and then backfills locations in the major cities where it already has a presence for a total of six openings annually, Edwards explained. The company has another store on tap for summer at The Shops at Legacy in nearby Plano as well as units in Boston, Brooklyn, and two more in the New York area.

Maison Kitsuné Opens Largest Store Yet in Paris

HARDER, BETTER, FASTER, STRONGER: Maison Kitsuné is the latest brand to land in the red-hot Upper Marais district of Paris, with the opening of its largest store and café so far in the French capital.
The 2,150-square-foot split-level space on Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire features floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, ensuring there is permanent light in the space, which has been decorated with mineral touches reminiscent of the Memphis design movement and the paintings of David Hockney.
“The overall mood is soft. We definitely wanted a slightly Californian vibe,” said Gildas Loaëc, who cofounded the brand in 2002 with Masaya Kuroki.
The store, which sells men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, is the brand’s fourth in Paris, while the café is the third there to date — and the first to offer more than a handful of seats, with room for 35 people. Maison Kitsuné joins brands including Acne, Swildens, A.P.C. and Soeur on the fast-evolving thoroughfare.

Nike Opens First Community Store In Brooklyn [Photos]

All you have to do is look down whenever you’re in Flatbush, Brookyn to know Nike is a staple in the hood. But the brand takes things a step further by opening its first community store in the neighborhood. 

The new store—who design includes imagery from local photographer Anthony Blasko—opened today (May 28) near the corner of Nostrand and Flatbush Avenues borough claiming by the Notorious B.I.G, Jay Z, Mike Tyson and many more.

The “Community Store” concept aims to empower locals and their community and being deep in Flatbush was as good place as any to set up shop.

“Nike Community Stores are about neighborhood roots and community connection” said Dennis van Oossanen, Vice President of Nike’s North America Direct to Consumer business via a press release. “So when we looked for a location, we wanted a place that was instantly recognizable, that expressed the unique spirit of Flatbush and Brooklyn and that amplified the values of the Nike brand. We think we found the perfect spot.”

The store has already met its target of having 80% of its employees be from the neighborhood. Also, employees will actively participate in community service events and help local non-profit organizations. Already on the schedule are after-school programs, a Zoom League basketball program and the Honor Roll Skate Club middle school students.

Products from Nike running, training, basketball and sportswear—as well BK specific items—will be available for women, men and young athletes in the store.

Sans Sucre Swimwear Opens Pop-Up in the Gansevoort Hotel Meatpacking

If you’re traveling to the Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC and forget your swimsuit, you’re in luck. The hotel, which offers a rooftop and pool, has teamed  with Sans Sucre Swimwear for a pop-up shop this summer at the hotel. It will also offer New York’s first Bikini Concierge immediately.
