Travis Scott “Can’t Say,” Derek King “Tetris” & More | Daily Visuals 2.5.19

NBA 2K19 Pre Launch Event NYC

Source: 2K Sports / Getty

While Travis Scott’s much talked about Super Bowl performance only lasted one song with no Jordan shock drop at the end of it a la Justin Timberlake in SB 52, the Houston rapper’s fan base still rides with him regardless and his latest clip seems to acknowledge that.

In his clip to “Can’t Say” the rapper with his own Jordan line gets his Ruff Ryde on and rolls deep with a horde of helmet clad motorcycle riders backing him up. We see none of them have any of his exclusive Jordans so we ain’t hating.

Derek King meanwhile references a classic game not called Fortnite or Pokemon while finding himself the only man at an all female party in his clip to “Tetris.” Great game.

Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Masego, Arin Ray, and more.

TRAVIS SCOTT – “CAN’T SAY”

DEREK KING – “TETRIS”

MASEGO – “LAVISH LULLABY”

ARIN RAY – “RECKLESS”

NICK GRANT – “S2 CYPHER”

SOLDIER KIDD – “NO RAP CAP”

Welcome. I've been working on this book for four decades. I don't mean that I started writing these essays with this book in mind. I mean that I have been learning the lessons I share in this book for 40 years. It took me a long time, a bunch of mistakes and tons of failed starts and stops to get to the point where I finally feel like a successful photographer. My simple goal in gathering these essays is to give you a chance to learn from my mistakes; to encourage you; and to let you know it is possible to follow your dreams and find the success you are looking for. What this book won't do for you is tell you which camera, lens or tripod to buy. It won't teach you which shutter speed, ISO or aperture to use. What it will do is help you with the hard part of photography. It helps you work out the thoughtful side of the art form. I have been and am honored to have great friends and compatriots in photography support me in my photographic endeavors. I want to give some of that back to you. So please try to read these essays with an open mind and an open heart. I hope they help you soar. Remember, you have to take the first step.

Billionaire Untamed ~ Tate

A Billionaire’s Obsession Novel

J. S. Scott

Genre: Contemporary

Publish Date: January 27, 2015

Publisher: Golden Unicorn Enterprises Inc

Seller: Golden Unicorn Enterprises Inc

Lara Bailey isn't in Rocky Springs for the hot springs, the resort activities or the fabulous skiing. She has come to Colorado for one reason and one reason only: to find and get close to Marcus Colter, the eldest Colter brother. Unfortunately, trouble finds her in the form of Tate Colter rather than Marcus. The youngest Colter brother is arrogant, cocky, smart, and tenacious in his attempts to find out why she wants to find Marcus even though she's never met him. Lara isn't willing to divulge that information, and Tate is determined to uncover her motives. It makes Tate one hot, wickedly sexy, adorably dimpled, alpha male pain in her backside. Lara is really confused when Tate helps her out of a difficult and potentially dangerous situation. It leaves Lara wondering if he really is the cocky, arrogant jerk that he pretends to be, or if there isn't much more to Tate Colter than she'd initially thought. Tate Colter wants Lara Bailey in his bed…badly. When she completely blows him off and ignores him when they meet, he's even more determined to find out her secrets and get her to submit to the molten desire that radiates between the two of them. The fact that she's one tough female, a woman who can give back exactly what he dishes out, makes her even more intriguing to him. Sparks fly as Tate and Lara become involved in a battle of wits and wills that will ignite flames of passion and desire like neither one of them have ever experienced. But when deception is discovered and a betrayal takes place, can these two adversaries who are so much alike work together without letting the white-hot passion burning between them incinerate them both? Not intended for teens or children. 18+ only

Al Sharpton Calls Out Travis Scott For Upcoming Super Bowl Performance

Al Sharpton Calls Out Travis Scott For Upcoming Super Bowl Performance

Source: Chip Somodevilla / Getty

Travis Scott might seriously want to reconsider his upcoming participation in this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. With Meek Mill and Jay-Z reportedly not fond of the idea, Al Sharpton is the latest big name calling out the Astroworld rapper.

Rev Al didn’t bite his tongue and pretty much called Scott a hypocrite for allegedly accepting the gig while speaking with TMZ.

“I think anyone that goes into the halftime show is in effect directly violating those that want to raise the question that the NFL should come to terms with what they have done and continue to do to Colin Kaepernick and those that protest on criminal justice issues.”

“You can’t tell people to stand for those that take a knee and don’t go to the games and then say ‘but somebody ought to perform there and entertain. You’re drawing TV viewers, you’re bringing supporters, and I think that you can’t have it both ways. You can’t help people market something and then turn around and say you agree with the people protesting.”

“I think he should do what a lot of other major artists have done: say ‘I’m not going to participate.’ You can’t fight against Jim Crow and then go sit in the back of the bus.

Well, tell him how you really feel Rev.

The Super Bowl halftime show is currently having issues locking down talent. Maroon 5 is reportedly locked in but have not been confirmed yet, Cardi B who is featured on a song with the band was rumored to be joining them, but that looks like it won’t be the case. It’s quite clear nobody wants Scott to do the show, and it would entirely put a stain on what was a stellar year for the rapper.

You can see Sharpton eloquently slam Travis in the clip below.

Tales of the Jazz Age

F. Scott Fitzgerald

Genre: Classics

Price: $ 0.99

Publish Date: February 9, 2016

Publisher: Open Road Media

Seller: OpenRoad Integrated Media, LLC

A master craftsman brings one of the most fascinating periods in American history to vivid life in these provocative and poignant short stories Born gray-haired and grumpy, Benjamin Button may be an infant, but his body and personality are those of an old man. Curiously, however, he grows younger with each passing year. Benjamin is aging backwards, which begs the question, when does a man become a man? And how do we recognize our true selves?   A delightful fable that poses serious inquiries about the nature of existence, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is one of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s best-known stories and the centerpiece of this legendary collection. From the Jazz Age decadence of “May Day” to the delightful fantasy of “The Diamond as Big as the Ritz,” these evocative tales showcase one of the twentieth century’s greatest authors at the height of his talent.

Release!

A Walker Brothers Novel

J. S. Scott

Genre: Contemporary

Publish Date: December 7, 2017

Publisher: Golden Unicorn Enterprises Inc

Seller: Golden Unicorn Enterprises Inc

Trace and Eva's story:      My name is Eva Morales, and I was one step away from being homeless when Trace Walker came into my life.  I want to hate him because of my past, but I end up making what I consider a "devil's bargain" with the arrogant young billionaire instead.  Really, I have no choice.  It's either take the work he's offering or starve, and I've been hungry long enough.         I didn't think being his fake fiancee for the holidays would be a difficult job, but it ends up more complicated than I ever imagined, and I see a whole new side of Trace once he lets his guard down. He's haunted by his past–just like me,  But there are things I can never tell him, secrets I don't dare reveal.        Eventually, I find myself in a difficult situation because our volatile attraction to each other won't be denied.  Should I tell him the truth, or do I finish the job he's paying me for and walk away with my secrets still hidden, my pride still intact?  He's paying me enough for this job to take care of myself once it's over.   I've always been alone, and I always thought I preferred it…until I met Trace.  I'd have to put everything on the line to be honest with him, but he very well might be the first man who is worth the risk. Honestly, I'd be endangering more than just my pride.  I could handle feeling like a loser, because I've pretty much felt that way my entire life.  What really terrifies me is being vulnerable and the possibility of ending up with a shattered heart…. This book is not intended for anyone under the age of 18.

It’s been a great year for Travis Scott on both the personal and professional fronts and from the looks of things he’s not going to be letting up anytime soon.

In his clip to “Yosemite,” Travis continues to give his fans cinematic type visuals as he finds himself flying high (both literally and, well, literally) while a young child falls from the sky and travels a jungle where the natives welcome him with open arms.

Not to be left behind, A$ AP Rocky stars in a wild clip to the Juicy J featured which features everything from crash test dummies to white folks having sexual relations in the kitchen. Can’t say we’ve ever seen a Hip-Hop video quite like this before.

Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Tru Life, Emilio Rojas featuring Gene Noble, and more.
