Iconic tennis brand Prince has teamed up with Miami-based hospitality powerhouse David Grutman for a new lifestyle collection that’s just right for summer. Combining responsive performance athleisure wear with stylish Art Deco-inspired colors that pop, it’s available now at Prince.
The Prince x David Grutman Collection nods to both the culture of tennis and the fun-loving, active lifestyle that has made Miami one of the hottest fashion destinations of the last few years. Grutman, founder of famous Miami hotspots such as LIV at the Fontainebleu Miami Beach, Story, and Bar Bevy], is the new Creative Director of the renowned tennis company.
Grutman has been called one of “The 50 Most Influential People in EDM” by Rolling Stone. This new collection showcases the electrifying South Beach spirit of the nightlife impresario. The collection blends classic athleisure silhouettes with the vibrant color palette of Miami—a vintage look that never goes out of style.
But don’t let the stylish flair detract you from the fact that this is serious performance apparel. It moves with you, works hard when you do, and to take your game to the next hot level.
The 20-piece lifestyle capsule consists of polo shirts, crewneck sweatshirts, shorts, and tees as well as accessories like caps and sweatbands. Also available as part of the collection is the famed nylon tracksuit – a tennis sideline staple. Delivering two styles, an all-black track suit featuring art deco inspired line embellishments, and a color-popped version with the classic Miami hues of aqua and fuchsia. Grutman’s EDM influence is apparent throughout the collection, which currently features both unisex and women’s-specific styles.
We expect to see this collection everywhere this summer. The new Prince x David Grutman Collection is available now at princeoffcourt.com.

Allbirds already makes what most consider to be the world’s most comfortable shoes. Where does the trailblazing brand go from here? Today, Allbirds breaks the mold again by releasing its first-ever patterned shoes. This limited edition collection of Houndstooth, ZigZag, and Polkadot Tree Toppers won’t be in stores until July 16, but we scored an exclusive early link, so you can get yours right now by clicking here.
These. Are. Awesome.
If you’re thinking these high tops won’t be wearable until fall, think again. Allbirds Pattern Collection Tree Toppers are made using a proprietary mesh knit textile from sustainably harvested eucalyptus tree pulp. So they’re breathable and silky-smooth, even in the summer heat. Naturally-derived and renewable, it’s much friendlier to the environment than traditional shoe material.
Even the laces are environmentally sound. They’re made of 100 percent post-consumer recycled polyester; basically, one old plastic bottle becomes one pair of durable, sleek shoelaces. The design weave takes its cue from nautical rope, and the bio-based material that forms the eyelets is tougher and more resilient than plastic.
Wanna go sockless? No problem. The plush insoles are lined with merino wool fabric for natural softness. And wool has legendary moisture-wicking and odor reduction. The cushioned footbed is derived from castor bean oil, which also cuts carbon output when compared to petroleum-based foam.
Born from Brazilian sugarcane, SweetFoam is the world’s first carbon negative green EVA. The outsole’s contours provide bouncy comfort that’s light on your feet as well as the planet.
Best of all, Allbirds shoes are completely machine washable—and the price point on these is no higher than the rest of the Tree Topper line ($ 115).
Where Can You Get Them?
The shoes are currently available via Instagram, and you can head there to learn more. For now, the three limited-edition Allbirds Patterned Collection is available only in the high-top Tree Topper style, and just in a black/grey colorway. But if they’re a hit, who knows what the future holds? Take a look at each of the three Patterned Tree Toppers below, and pick yours up today before they’re all gone.

Joel Kinnaman, the star of Hanna, The Informer, and Altered Carbon, covers our July/August issue, sporting a textured, side-swept hairstyle. It’s a cut to consider snagging for yourself, since it wears well in both professional and casual settings.
If you’re curious how it might look on you, consider the advice of Alexia Saras, regional barber manager at Fellow Barber in New York City. Here, she explains whom the style suits best, how to style and maintain it, and what to tell your barber.
How to Get Joel Kinnaman’s Hairstyle: The Kind of Hair You Need
You need to start with some length, at least up top. It’ll be harder for your barber to achieve this style if you’re working with a previously disconnected haircut, Saras notes. You’ll need something that’s easily blended from top to sides.
Because of the forward fringe that sweeps across the brow, Kinnaman’s cut works really well on guys with receding temples. It also softens the widow’s peak that forms in the middle of the recession. Just be sure to ask the barber to leave more density in the front, says Saras, so that you can sweep it down and over the recession. Get your barber’s honest opinion on your density, though. If it’s too thinned out, Salas says you’ll just look like you have a really bad comb-over.
You’ll need relatively textured hair for the style, something that has a natural wave to it without being too curly. “If you have very straight hair, it’ll stick out from the crown and parietal ridge (upper sides) and run the risk of poofing,” Saras says.
It works on thin and thick hair, and Saras says that the style reduces bulk, which is an added benefit for guys with thicker hair: “It allows you to take the sides very short, which prevents them from growing in and looking like a clown wig,” she adds.
What to Tell Your Barber
Your barber should be adept enough to know if this look suits you, as well as how to pull it off. But here are some points you can make.
“This haircut is a blend of a ‘French crop’ with longer fringe and a longer version of a crew cut on the sides,” Saras says.
On top, you want a lot of texture, so your barber should cut the sides with scissors to roughly one inch in length—or a #6 guard (though this entire look really should be styled with scissors).
“The top should be trimmed from a short two inches in the back to a long three inches in the front, done with scissors,” says Saras. “The sides are trimmed and connected to the top while breaking the corners to follow the roundness of the head.”
As for the sideburns and neck, leave them naturally faded, but not tapered.
How to Maintain This Style
Saras suggests a full haircut every three to four weeks, and to clean up the neck and sideburns every two weeks so that it stays natural-looking.
How to Style It
Use a nickel- or quarter-sized amount of lightweight styling cream, Saras advises. (Conveniently, Fellow Barber sells its own Styling Cream, which Saras uses on her clients with similar cuts. Product application is important here, too. After distributing the cream evenly in your palms, apply starting from the rear and sides of the head, moving forward, while targeting the roots. You can then massage the hair back from the front, and forward from the back after that, until it’s evenly applied.
Set your blow dryer on low, and point it down over the fringe, instead of under and upward. You can use the diffuser extension on the dryer, too, to better lock in the product and retain some of the moisture in the hair. “This helps keep the style looking great all day long,” Saras says.
You can go over the top of it with a light dusting of texturizing paste or clay (like Firsthand), or a zap of texturizing hair spray (like Ouai’s); it’ll ensure that your hair looks dense and defined.

Scott Eastwood is stepping into some new territory. After starring in big films like Pacific Rim: Uprising and The Fate of the Furious over the last couple years, the actor is launching a new style collection, Made Here, which will have products that are inspired by the American worker.
So what exactly is Made Here about? While you’ll have to wait to see, the upcoming new line will include shirts, boxers, socks, hats and other accessories for both men and women. The idea behind the brand is that everything will be made in the United States and also will “celebrate the American worker” through its designs. Eastwood has partnered with entrepreneur Dane Chapin for the new collection.
“For hundreds of years, ‘American-made’ has been synonymous with high quality,” said Eastwood in a press release. “It’s all the hard-working folks across the country that make our brand possible. I want to honor the iconic heritage of American manufacturing and let people know it’s very much alive and well. The essence of Made Here is really very simple: it’s to celebrate the excellence of the American worker.”
While Eastwood has been hard at work on launching Made Here, he hasn’t slowed down in his acting career. Eastwood has multiple projects coming up, including the Afghanistan war drama The Outpost with Orlando Bloom, and the crime thriller The Manuscript, where he’ll star alongside Oscar winner Jamie Foxx for director Nick Cassavettes.
While you wait for the Made Here launch, you can read up on Eastwood’s previous cover story, where he told us about the time he took a road trip through the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, the time he almost crashed in a helicopter on a snowboarding trip in the Canadian Rockies, and the time he was held down by a massive wave in Australia. Yeah, Eastwood knows how to have an adventure.

Talk about unintended consequences. The sunscreen saving us from becoming lobsters often contains chemicals that wash off into the ocean and threaten corals. Do your part. Use reef-safe sunscreens that are ocean-friendly.
These omit harmful ingredients and use non-nanosize zinc, making the sun-protecting mineral less able to be absorbed by corals.
Here are six reef-safe lotions, sprays, lip balms, and sticks that pass muster. Protect Mother Earth using this trove of ocean-friendly SPF all summer long. And don’t worry: Just because they’re gentle on the ocean doesn’t mean they’re any less effective at safeguarding your skin.

When you find a cologne you love, you want to wear it wherever you go: to the grocery store, while you run errands, to the office—basically every time you step outside of your house. But there are more than a few men’s fragrances that are super heady, and have woody, floral or earthy scents that can be way too overpowering for your colleagues at work.
So if you’ve noticed that your coworkers have been keeping their distance ever since you started dousing yourself in a new scent, or if you’ve seen a subtweet or two that could be about you, that’s their (not-so-subtle) way of telling you that you may need to make a change. And while it may be a pain to give your newfound fragrance a break, think of it this way: you spend more time with the people who share your office than you do with anyone else, and it quite literally pays to keep them happy.
Scroll through the following pages to find a handful of options that will not only satisfy your tastes, but also make your presence a little less known around the office—in the very best way possible.

Zappos is renowned for having an awesome selection of boots and dress shoes, but its wide variety of sneakers and summer kicks don’t get nearly as much love. And that’s a shame. Zappos is a fantastic destination to get all your summer gear, from shirts and shorts to sandals and flip-flops. And it’s almost always cheaper than retail. So if you can find gear on sale at Zappos? That means it’s WAY less than you’d pay at the shoe store.
And these aren’t knock-offs like you find at some of the big box stores. Zappos doesn’t rip brands off, or steal their designs. Zappos gets great deals on overstock from manufacturers and retailers, then spins that savings back around to you. So you can get the same great products you saw in the store just a couple of months prior for a fraction of the price.
Does Zappos Sell More Than Shoes?
What started as an online shoe reseller has turned into a retail empire. Zappos now sells clothing, bags, accessories, and much more. The company has been instrumental in the rebirth of downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, and is widely recognized as an awesome place to work. It puts a premium on company culture, too. So you know when you buy from Zappos you’re buying from a responsible retailer that takes care of its customers and employees—not some fly-by-night operation that might be gone next week or doesn’t answer the phone or email if you have an issue.
So get your feet into something sweet this summer, and pick up one of these awesome summer shoes from Zappos. Most of these selections have multiple colors, styles, and sizes available, so there’s something for everyone.
Whether you spend your summer weekends sipping Negronis in the Hamptons or jumping off cliffs at Copper Canyon, get over to Zappos and get some sensible summer shoes today.
Here’s a great place to start.

Summer is the time when dressed-down, casual looks become stylish. Chinos, short sleeves, and linen are back, and it’s acceptable to finish off the look with your favorite open-toed shoes. Using sandals and flip flops can give your summer outfits a laid-back feel, plus they can be comfortable and stylish too.
“A lot of guys are self-conscious about sandals, but if you like them, you should wear them — guys need to have a look that they like,” menswear icon Sid Mashburn says. “Function is more important than fashion, and sandals are just good summer shoes. But it can be surprising how cool they are, how chic they are, and how elegant they are. They hit all the buttons.”
Here are some of the best sandals and flip-flops for summer, whether you’re going out for a day on the lake or a night out on the town.
When you think of Merino wool, you probably imagine a drawer full of warm winter clothing, or maybe a pair of comfy hiking socks. You likely don’t think about summer wear, especially not a pair of swim trunks. But Outerknown, the outdoor apparel brand founded by pro surfer Kelly Slater, is changing the way we think about wool with the new Woolaroo trunks, released earlier this month.
We got our hands on a pair while touring Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch, and we’re here to tell you it’s time to leave the itchy stereotypes about wool behind. These 100 percent Merino wool trunks feel great, are super tough, and they’re eco-friendly, too. If you’re in the market for a pair of hard-working trunks that can stand up to a summer’s worth of surfing, swimming, and paddling, the it’s worth considering the Woolaroo.
What It Is:
The Woolaroo is a new swim trunk from Outerknown, and the company claims it’s the first-ever trunk made completely from Australian Merino wool (the fiber is sourced in collaboration with The Woolmark Company). It’s a nod to the swim trunks from the early days of surfing, which were made from a heavy-duty twill fabric, but it’s also a clear expression of the brand’s commitment to sustainability. Merino wool is an all-natural, renewable, and biodegradable fiber, unlike the synthetic fabrics used in many other swim trunks.
Why We Like It:
Finding swim trunks that are comfortable, stylish, and fit well is no easy task, but the Woolaroo gets high marks in all three categories. The pre-stretched wool fabric is light but tough, and the natural benefits of the fiber really shine. It’s breathable and odor-resistant without any synthetic finishes or additives, and wool’s moisture-wicking properties are also evident: Even when soaking wet, water beads up and rolls off the shorts easily. The Woolaroo strikes a good balance between utility and style as well. They hit just above the knee and look trim enough to wear off the beach, but there’s enough give through the thigh that they won’t interfere with swimming, and the zipper fly and drawstring provide a secure fit—you won’t have to worry about these slipping off in heavy surf. Of course, it’s also a definite plus to wear swim trunks that won’t contribute to the plastic that’s choking our oceans.
The Merino fabric of the Woolaroo is a far cry from your scratchy Christmas sweater, but it’s worth noting that these shorts do have a slightly coarse texture compared to synthetic fabrics. As for storage, the Woolaroo comes with a secure zippered back pocket, but on land, some might miss having side pockets to carry keys and other essentials. Watermen who need a light and lean pair of trunks likely won’t mind the lack of pockets, though.

A hot shave is one of man’s great pleasures. But who has the time or money to sit for one? Gillette wants to bring the hot shave experience out of the barber chair and straight to your bathroom with the world’s first Heated Razor. It’s available for pre-order now, and set to ship in time for Father’s Day.
Designed in Germany, the innovative and experiential arm of the grooming giant, the high-tech heated razor created a buzz last year when it launched. The GiletteLabs heated razor sold out in 5 days on Indiegogo. Now, it’s ready to be shipped to the public, and we couldn’t be more excited. With Father’s Day coming up fast, the timing couldn’t be better. It’s also a great time to consider signing yourself or the Dad in your life up with Gillette on Demand, to ensure he always has fresh razors at his disposal.
Now guys can get the soothing hot towel experience in the comfort of our own bathrooms. The wireless, five-blade razor heats up in less than a second. There are even adjustable temperature levels for ultimate comfort . And best of all, the razor is built to be completely waterproof, so we can use it in or out of the shower. Finally, a reason to look forward to our morning shave.
Does anyone shave without heat anymore? Most of us rinse our razor under a faucet of hot water before scraping away the lather. Many of us take our razors right into the shower with us, as part of our morning grooming routine. Some shave immediately after our shower. No matter when you prefer to shave, heat is an integral part of the pre-shave routine. Why? It awakens the senses and provides an elevated shaving experience.
Does This Gadget Really Work?
That’s what makes the GilletteLabs Heated Razor so amazing. Anywhere you shave, just a push of a button is all it takes. The thin warming bar sits right below the five blades, so once you dial in the temp to your preferences you can just start shaving. That’s it. No waiting for the faucet water to get hot, no standing with your face under a hot shower, holding your breath. The warming bar touches the skin just before the razor does, instantly prepping both whisker and skin for the shave to come. There are no wires to work around. It’s all powered by a Li-Ion battery that charges on a discreet stand you can put anywhere in your bathroom. There’s even magnetic docking, making charging your razor as easy as just putting it down.
If you’re ready to get the hot shave experience in your own bathroom—or know a dad who would—pre-order the GilletteLabs Heated Razor ($ 200) today. The razor will ship mid-late May (you’ll only be charged once it ships), but it will arrive at its destination in plenty of time for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 16. You can (and should) also enroll Dad in Gillette On Demand’s subscription service, so he gets a set of new Heated Razor blades (regularly $ 25) monthly, or every three or six months. It’s a great deal that keeps you from having to remember to order new blades all the time.
The GilletteLabs Heated Razor makes our morning grooming routine—the act of shaving in particular, of course, but the entire routine as a whole—far more pleasant and enjoyable than it’s ever been.
Buy Now: Be the first to shop the new GilletteLabs Heated Razor! Buy now at Gillette on Demand ($ 200) today. Product will ship in time for Father’s Day. Limited quantities available!

There’s no such thing as a maintenance-free beard. If you’re sporting whiskers, you’ve got to take care of them—otherwise your face might become an itchy, unruly mess. But traveling complicates the grooming equation: How do you give your beard the care it needs without lugging around an extra carry-on full of supplies? For travel photographer Clint Johnston, a trio of grooming products from Wahl is the answer. Compact, easy to use, and effective, the Wahl Beard Oil, Beard Wash, and Beard Softener wet goods bundle makes the perfect travel companion and checks all the boxes for beard care.
“I use my wet goods products daily,” says Johnston in the video above. “I love having a dedicated product to keep my beard healthy, and I can use it on the go.”
The three products in the bundle are specifically formulated to give your beard all the care it needs. The sulfate-free Beard Wash cleans your scruff (and also works as a face cleanser), the Beard Oil moisturizes your whiskers, and the Beard Softener prevents itching and skin irritation while making your beard soft to the touch. With these products, your grooming routine becomes a simple three-step process: Just wash, apply the oil to moisturize, and add in the softener to keep your beard looking and feeling great. For Johnson, that means he can get the look he wants with minimal time and effort.
“It allows me to transition from rugged to refined in a matter of minutes,” he says. “As soon as I get home, I can just clean up and I’m ready to go.”
Whether you’re heading out on a long bike ride or lounging by the pool, no outdoor summer activity is complete without a good pair of shades. And if you’ve been toting around the same frames for years—or your good pair went overboard at the lake last season—now’s the perfect time to upgrade. Brands are rolling out their newest spring and summer sunglasses, so you have plenty of great options to choose from.
Although they fall into the “accessory” category, a good pair of frames is really an essential. They can make or break an outfit, says Courtney Mays, stylist for NBA player Kevin Love.
“Sunglasses are the final touch to complete a look,” she says. “They add that instant cool factor, even if you’re in sweats.”
When picking out a new pair, focus on fit, shape, and style, Mays advises. Look for frames that fit your head well (and stay put when you wear them), and opt for a shape and style that matches your wardrobe and personality. The best way to determine what works is to visit a store and try on frames, she says. Once you find a shape you like, you can experiment with different materials and colors.
Already have a pair of shades in your drawer? Add to your collection by branching out into new styles.
“Go for a color, lens, or metal you wouldn’t normally choose,” Mays says.
We perused recent releases and put together this collection of our favorite new men’s sunglasses. From ultralight, sporty shades to updates on classic frames, there’s something here for every occasion—and every guy.

You invest in technologically advanced running shoes, wearables, and fitness gear. So why do you settle with subpar underwear? It might seem like it’s all the same, but there’s a huge difference between a garment designed with performance in mind and one that comes in a 12 pack. (If you’ve made the switch to performance socks, you know the difference.)
We tested the newest briefs on the market to find the ones that stand up to WODs so hard you soak through your clothes as well as freezing outdoor runs, all while preventing chafing and maximizing comfort. If you’re looking for next-level underwear, these five pairs are tough—and comfy—enough for adventures in sweltering heat or bitter cold.

When it comes to being a frequent traveler, you don’t always have time to book a time slot with your local barber. But if you’re looking to achieve a badass, stylish cut on your own, you need the right tools to maintain it. For Clint Johnston, a travel photographer who has been to many far-reaching places, the way to do that is with the Wahl Elite Pro Clipper Kit.
As someone who travels more often than not, Johnston doesn’t always have time to go get a shape-up or a haircut at the barber. That’s where the Wahl kit comes in. “It’s essential for my everyday needs,” Johnston says. “It keeps me looking fresh, so if I’m out all day hiking and shooting, I can come home, clean up, and go out at night, no problem.”
The kit comes with a number of different guard attachments, varying in length from short to long, as well as a cleaning brush, scissors, blade oil, and more, so it can take care of almost any hair-styling need you want. After spending time out in the wilderness, all it takes is a few strokes and you can clean up any stray hair or spots to get a fresher look.
“Wahl helps me upgrade my grooming game because it helps me transition from rugged to refined in a matter of minutes,” Johnston says. “As soon as I get home, I can clean up and I’m ready to go.”

A good pair of performance briefs should go unnoticed. That’s the ironic, telltale sign of a stellar piece of apparel: You forget you’re wearing it. Meanwhile, a bad pair will scrunch, chafe, and require some awkward lunging or a not-so-discrete hand down your pants to adjust.
To keep your most sensitive area as dry and comfortable as possible, we’ve tested some of the top options on the market. Here are the best six performance briefs to wear whether you’re training or just going about your everyday life. They’ll withstand stifling heat and swampy humidity without breaking a sweat—even if you do.

We all land on different ends of the spectrum when it comes to skin—few striking that perfect combination. Some suffer from dryness, struggling to keep their whole face or specific patches hydrated and free from flakes. Others err on the side of greasy. If your forehead is prone to extra oil, then you’re conscious of the matter. Your skin can look slick and shiny at the end of the day
It’s not detrimental to your skin health. On the contrary, the added sebum can actually help protect against pollutants and minimize the appearance of wrinkles (essentially natural anti-aging). But the accumulation of grease can be annoying as hell. You have to wipe it constantly throughout the day, and your forehead can reflect light in photographs.
How do you remedy this? There’s no need to cover your brow or go crazy with a harsh grooming protocol (washing your face too often can actually trigger your skin to produce more oil). Tend to your skin with the right products and regimen.
Here are six things to help minimize oil buildup and shine.
1. Use a Toner
Toner should be your first attempt at managing oil production. It works to balance the pH levels of your skin, while removing excess dirt or grime from the pores that your cleanser may have missed. Toner should be applied after cleansing, but before any serum and moisturizer. Avoid any alcohol-based toners and astringents, in favor of something with cooling herbal ingredients. These will neutralize oil without over-drying and irritating the skin. Witch hazel is a much-touted toner, too, and helps balance pH levels effectively, though you should discontinue if you notice any dryness or redness. (It’s not likely, but pay attention.)
2. Try a Mattifying Primer After Moisturizing
Once you’ve applied your moisturizer, you can add a lightweight coat of mattifying primer atop the skin. It comes as a liquid that dissolves into a powder-like substance. (Or, you can simply pat some anti-shine powder* on your forehead, too, like they do on movie sets to help prevent the actors from radiating like traffic lights.) This invisible layer will absorb excess oil throughout the day, preventing the buildup of grime and shine. Most of them also mask the appearance of enlarged pores, giving you a matte, smooth complexion.
3. Wear Lightweight, Oil-Free Moisturizers
Another aggravator of shine is when you coat the skin with excessively dense creams and lotions. This suffocates the pores, and you end up sweating or glistening more than you otherwise would. That’s why you should stick with lighter creams that absorb quickly and don’t add any excess oil to your forehead. Oil-free products will proudly announce themselves to you on their packaging. And it’s not that some oils are bad as a skincare ingredient. They make excellent moisturizers for dry and “normal” types of skin, but are a bit excessive when you’re already prone to excessive oil.
Try this: Boscia Green Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer [$ 38; boscia.com]
4. Consider Mattifying, Tinted Moisturizers
Another option for your moisturizer is a tinted, mattified option. Not only will this work to even out any inconsistencies in your complexion (by neutralizing redness, lightness, or dark spots), they also often come with SPF. The same drill applies as above, however, look for lightweight, oil-free options that won’t aggravate your sebum production or block your pores. While you’re browsing for tinted moisturizers, note that you might see them listed as “BB Creams”—a.k.a. “blemish balms”—so be sure to browse those options, too.
Try this: La Roche-Posay Effaclar BB Cream for Oily Skin, SPF 20 [$ 29.99; laroche-posay.us]
5. Keep Blotting Papers in Your Bag or Backpack
Remember how some people used to pat their greasy pizza with a napkin? While their gesture was pointless, it did make the pizza appear less greasy. And that’s what blotting papers do for your forehead. Only they aren’t napkins: These tote-able papers soak up the oil and instantly remedy the situation, leaving no product or residue behind.
Try this: Sephora Mattifying Blotting Films [$ 8; sephora.com]
6. Cleanse More Frequently, and More Gently
There are two ways to combat oily skin via cleansing: Logic would tell you to use a cleanser for oily skin, something with salicylic acid to help keep your pores clear. And that’s the truth. However, while that’s a good solution for people with oily skin, it doesn’t mean that they should cleanse with that heavier-duty product multiple times a day. (Just once will suffice.)
If you want to wash your face an extra time or two midday—like after a workout, or just because you’re just getting glossy—then swap in something a little gentler, sans oil, to compensate for the fact you’re washing more than most people.
Try this: CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser [$ 13.57; cerave.com]

One of the pioneers of breathable, cooling golf shirts, Callaway brought the hex pattern into the game years ago. The hex allowed Callaway’s golf shirts to breathe and dry quickly. It wasn’t long until golfers on courses around the world soon raved about Callaway’s fantastic golf shirts.
Today, Callaway is one of the most recognized brands on the course. It’s worn by dozens of pros and legions of duffers worldwide. And the reason is simple: Because it works. Comfortable as well as stylish, Callaway Apparel looks as good off the course as it works on it.
But Callaway Apparel didn’t stop when it was ahead. The company is utilizing modern technology and contemporary fabrics to craft golf wear that stretches, breathes, and dries like no other. And this time of year, those qualities are essential on the course.
Stay Focused on the Game
A sweat-soaked shirt is not just unsightly and embarrassing, it’s uncomfortable. And when you’re not comfortable, you get distracted. If you’re distracted, you don’t play well. It’s as simple as that. Golf is a game of millimeters, not just inches, and the slightest distraction can ruin a shot. One bad shot can ruin the whole round. And a bad round of golf makes for a bad day all around.
So head over to callawayapparel.com today, and check out their big sale on cooling apparel. It’s moisture-wicking and heat transferring, keeping the wearer comfortable and dry and keeping his mind on the game. And it’s good-looking enough to take anyone far beyond the course.
The selection is vast, and much of it is on sale. A bunch of it is made just for Big & Tall guys, with sizes up to 5X. There’s also a great Clearance section, where you can score awesome deals on blowout items. And every order over $ 99 gets free shipping.
Here are few pieces of Callaway cooling apparel we wouldn’t mind swinging in this summer.

Salt may be nature’s exfoliant, but sodium chloride-infused grooming products can do more than slough away skin.
Sprays can give texture to thin strands, boosting your hair’s natural volume and helping you pull off certain hairstyles you might not otherwise be able to achieve.
It may seem counterintuitive, but lotions containing the mineral can actually help your skin cells drink in (and retain) moisture. And masks with NaCl can smooth away dead skin, exfoliating your mug for a closer shave.
Chasing that post-beach day glow—sans the beach? Sprinkle these mineral-rich and exfoliating salt-infused products into your morning routine. They’ll have you feeling salty in the best way.

When it comes to dressing up as the temperatures rise, there are plenty of ways to keep things cool.
Here are three surefire ways to pull off the suited look this season—no matter where you’re headed.
1. Cotton Casual
The perfect combination of form and function, cotton suits are stiffer than winter wools but lighter and far more breathable. Dress them up with a button-down and loafers. Or keep things casual with a T-shirt and sneakers.
Canali Blazer ($ 1,595, canali.com); Canali Trousers ($ 540, canali.com); O.N.S Clothing Linen Village Crew ($ 88, onsclothing.com) Salvatore Ferragamo Ajustable Gancini Belt ($ 450, ferragamo.com); Tod’s Sneakers in Leather ($ 775, tods.com)
2. Sir Seersucker
When the heat index spikes and humidity soars, this southern staple stays cool and breathable, a stylish option at both work and summertime events Seersucker is also a lot of fun to wear, adding panache and personality to your wardrobe. No wonder it’s the go-to summer-wedding attire.
Brooks Brothers Regent Fit Stripe Seersucker Suit ($ 498, brooksbrothers.com); Dolce & Gabbana White Dress Shirt ($ 395, select Dolce & Gabbana stores); Thom Browne Classic Necktie, ($ 190, select Thom Browne stores); To Boot New York Capo in Cognac ($ 395, toboot.com); and matching To Boot New York Cognac Calf Belt ($ 150, toboot.com); Kane 11 Lemans Vapor Socks ($ 21, kane11.com).
3. The Right Blend
Contrary to popular belief, you can wear wool in the summer—provided it’s the right wool. Look for a suit marked “summer weight.” The fabric is lighter and has a looser weave, making it as breathable and comfy as cotton or linen.

A spa facial is great, but you can really get one at home: wash, exfoliation, steam, blackhead removal, mask, lotion. What’s your bathroom not outfitted for? Laser facials. We spoke with Kelly Rheel, owner of Flash Lab Laser Suite in New York City, about why you might want to get zapped.
What Does a Laser Facial Do?
There are different machines, but some of the most sought-after models shoot lasers at skin to boost collagen production to make your face look healthy and feel softer. Lasers can reduce acne scars, improve tone, and remove tattoos. The FDA-approved Clear and Brilliant machine is widely available and costs about $ 400 per treatment. You’ll notice a change after one session, but some people will want to do three to six monthly treatments. (Many spas offer package deals.)
What Does it Feel Like?
It stings, but it’s over in about 15 minutes. Some treatments go deeper into the skin, and your technician will apply numbing cream half an hour before you get going. (Also, a pre-treatment whiskey helps.)
Will I Be Red in the Face?
Your skin will be pink and warm to the touch for up to 24 hours, then feel rough for up to three days. It’s not so severe that you have to hide out. Just hydrate and use a moisturizer with SPF.
Hyperhidrosis is the pits, as is any excessive sweating or persistent perspiration. It prevents you from feeling comfortable in your own skin and clothes, and it forces you to soak in your own bodily swamp all day while your coworkers question a curious stench in the air. You need to step things up with clinical-strength deodorants.
A clinical-strength stick or wipe is enhanced with aluminum to neutralize and stop sweat for up to seven days, depending on the product and your own regimen and reaction to it. They’re stronger than the usual antiperspirants, but their aluminum grades are higher.
If you suffer from any such sweaty condition, then the clinical-strength deodorants below will keep you smelling and feeling fresh. Use any of them year round if you need to, or ad hoc if you have a big work presentation and first date approaching.
Bright, busy, and colorful prints are back this summer. Sinuous, floriferous prints and patterns have come around again, daring men to once again embrace the breezy, flowery blouse as the go-to summer shirt. And thanks to Todd Snyder’s new Liberty Prints collection, you can be among the most sinuous and floriferous at your summer gathering.
Okay, enough of the flowery language. We love floral prints, and are firm in our belief that it takes a confident man to wear them without irony. Of course, bright colors and natural patterns are the ideal summer palette. It’s particularly suited for backyard parties and dockside barbecues. If you think you’re making a bold statement by wearing a flowery shirt, you’re absolutely right. If you believe you’re an original, well, Oscar Wilde might beg to differ.
What’s the History of Liberty London?
Since 1875, Liberty London has been renowned for its signature floral patterns. From the outset, its designs were used in everything from wallpaper to clothing, from eyeglass cases to furnishings. The store’s founder Arthur Liberty sought to collect and curate the finest, most exotic goods from around the world.
From the outset, Liberty’s floral motifs embodied a quintessential Englishness. The company was both an advocate and beneficiary of the Art Nouveau movement. In the 1960s Liberty successfully rebranded its trademark designs into Swinging Sixties-cool, tinged by nostalgia. Today, its familiar-yet-exotic archive of over 45,000 vintage floral designs have been captivating artistic shoppers for nearly 150 years.
“Familiar-yet-exotic” perfectly captures the spirit of Todd Snyder’s legendary collabs. Todd has never hesitated in reaching out to other designers and labels to incorporate nostalgia into modern design. And his Todd Snyder x Liberty London Collection is no exception, with camp collar shirts and shorts that showcase this irresistible handiwork.
It’s not a huge selection, with just three prints in both shirts and shorts. But the Todd Snyder x Liberty London Collection is guaranteed to make a splash at any summer gathering—as long as you wear it with confidence, of course.

With the influx of razor-by-mail companies lately, we keep coming back to Harry’s. We’ve never been disappointed. Harry’s has amazing shave products as well as razors, with low prices and fantastic customer service. And now our favorite men’s care brand has just released a line of hair care and grooming products that are as awesome as their shaving gear: Hair by Harry’s.

Harry’s new 2 in 1 ($ 7) is a quick, nourishing way to clean and condition your hair without stripping it of its natural oils and essences. It lathers up nicely and rinses clean, and then you’re done. No fooling around with a separate bottle of conditioner, no waiting 60 seconds for some magical conditioning effect to take place. That’s it, you’re done.
And it has a pleasant scent that isn’t overly fragrant, with light notes of lavender as well as bracing peppermint, and soothing eucalyptus. It’s great for all hair types, plus it’s paraben-, dye-, and sulfate-free. With enough moisturizing properties to make it okay to use it everyday.
Now you’re ready to move on to another of Harry’s fantastic hair grooming products.
Harry’s Sculpting Gel ($ 8) is perfect for guys who want a light but firm hold on their coif. It locks in any style in any shape, but remains soft and gentle to the touch. Unless, of course, you’re going for a slicker look, in which case you comb it through while your hair is wet.
It won’t fade or flake away light some other gels, and there’s no alcohol—so it won’t dry or damage your hair. And it rinses out clean at the end of the day. Paraben-free, sulfate-free, and never tested on animals, Harry’s Sculpting Gel has a light and refreshing scent, with hints of lemon and fresh herbs. It leaves your hair firmly in place, and won’t come off on your—or anyone else’s—fingers.
For long-haired dudes after a more natural look, Harry’s has something for you as well. For an unruly mane that desires a soft hold and a carefree finish, you need Harry’s Taming Cream ($ 8). It’s lightweight cream that’s ideal for curly, coarse, thick hair, leaving it naturally casual without feeling stiff or sticky.
Best of all, Taming Cream styles, moisturizes, and conditions as well. And to paraphrase an old ad slogan, just a little dab will do. So your hair comes away looking natural and free of harsh chemicals and powerful smells.
This stuff is great for guys who want to look like they put zero effort into their hair. With a matte finish and malleable hold, Harry’s Texturizing Putty ($ 12) delivers subtle definition without stickiness or stiffness. It’s ideal for professionals, guys with short hair who want keep it tidy without looking like they spent more than a few minutes in front of the mirror.
Just rub a dab between your hands to soften it up, then smooth and work it through dry (or towel-dry) hair until you get your desired shape and style. It leaves your hair smelling rich and woodsy, and lets everyone know how you feel about your hair: There are far more important things for a man to worry about.
So if you’re looking for great hair care products from a reliable company, stuff that’s made by guys, for guys, check out Hair by Harry’s hair care products. Pick yourself up some amazing razors while you’re there. And don’t sleep on their awesome shower products.

The Shoreline Collection features four new coastal-inspired colorways that are ideal for summertime. And they’re in styles that are awesome for warm weather fun. They cost the same as standard Allbirds—but these Limited Edition colorways will fly off the shelves. So if you’re on the fence, you’d better hop on over it, and quick.
This fresh aqua colorway is reminiscent of cool blue pool water, and makes us want to signal for the cabana boy to bring us another mimosa. It’s available in Allbirds’ original Wool Runner and high-topped Tree Topper, and also in the casual Tree Skipper ($ 95, above). It’s a laced summer slip-on, perfect for kicking off and relaxing in the chaise.
Hot August nights and slow summer sunsets call for a smoldering colorway, and the Sunkissed delivers. It’s available in four Allbirds styles, including Wool Runners, Tree Skippers, Tree Toppers, and the breathable Tree Runners ($ 95, above). You can get it with a matching sole, but we rather like the contrast of the light grey here.
Just because the sun is bright and hot doesn’t mean your shoes have to be. Stay cool, calm, and collected in this subdued, classy colorway. It’s only available in Allbirds’ original Wool Runner style ($ 95, above), and only with the color-matched sole. But don’t let the fabric scare you; 100 percent natural Merino stays cool when it’s hot, and warm when it’s cool. And it’s totally suited for year-round wear—even to the office.
This icy blue can chill the vibe at any summer gathering. It’s also available with the summer active Tree Runner sneaker ($ 95, shown at top), but we’ll take it paired with Allbirds also-chill, lace-less summer Tree Loungers slip-ons ($ 95, above). Perfect for when you have a drink in your hand and your toes in the sand, just like Diamond Dave.
Remember, these fresh Allbirds colorways won’t last—they rarely do, but because these are so perfectly summer-suited, do yourself a favor and jump on this. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to add a free all-wool Allbirds beer koozie to your shopping cart. Once you add a pair of shoes, the $ 10 price tag drops right off, automatically.

Earlier this month, the brand War Paint launched an advertisement for a line of men’s makeup—specifically, concealer, tinted moisturizer, foundation, bronzer, and anti-shine powder. There aren’t a lot of brands that target makeup directly to men. On paper, it’s a winning formula: a market opportunity upon which brands like War Paint can capitalize. After all, there are plenty of skincare and haircare brands “for men”. Why not launch a men’s makeup brand?
The aforementioned ad, however, chose a very targeted angle, showcasing a muscled, tattooed “man’s man”, if you will, with skull rings and perky pecs, applying tinted moisturizer to his face. The implication: This brand is for REAL MEN. Grunt! A tweet from War Paint explained they created these products because they “couldn’t find a makeup brand formulated specifically for men’s skin”. Huh? “It’s about understanding that not all men have that confidence [to buy makeup in the women’s aisles],” the founder said in another video. “I didn’t, and I suffered.”
I can understand being a victim of bullying for cystic acne or vitiligo or birthmarks, but not for fear of buying Maybelline. The muscley ad itself has since been deleted, but you can envision it easily, like a razor commercial trying to sexify its new 5-blade technology while playing during a WWE broadcast.
The Internet Powers That Be quickly took War Paint to task, and for a number of rightful reasons. One, that Native American-appropriated name. Two, men’s skin is exactly the same as women’s skin. It’s your genetics that take hold instead: While men have larger pores on average, gender plays no role in oil levels, texture, or complexion. And three, the Web called out the way War Paint positioned itself in this corner of the ring, specifically by using the hypermasculine actor and no other models, capitalizing on outdated male stereotypes.
War Paint very much pinned itself into this corner—especially in an industry that’s rounding its edges against consumers who are sharpening their senses. I’ve been writing about grooming for nearly six years, for just about every men’s publication. If you’ve ever Googled tips on styling your hair or trimming your beard, there’s a good chance I wrote that article. Sometimes I write for guys in their 30s, sometimes for young men starting college, or for those going grey and losing their hair. More and more, I’ve been asked by editors to write about products like concealer, primer, and tinted moisturizer—things many of us refer to as makeup, not that it matters what you call it. In the last year especially, the positioning I use in these articles has hinged as well. We aren’t holding our readers’ hands as much when it comes to personal care.
We tell you about the function of the product, and endorse a favorite, just as we would a conditioner or a moisturizer. Some male audiences still need an encouraging push, like “Concealer is not makeup, just like lip balm isn’t lipstick. Try it. Maybe you’ll like it.” Take this as my vow to let go of all hands, moving forward on the matter. It’s a learning moment for me, also, as a grooming writer.
I wrote about War Paint a couple times last year, as soon as they were out the gate. Their products work really well, I should add. I recommended them confidently, despite the less-than-desirable name. I even liked that they had positioned themselves as a men’s brand, because I know the audience well: Men should be using these kinds of products, but they can be stubborn. There’s something about our fragile egos that can’t be caught wearing makeup, much less shopping amongst brands with pink labels or female models. As a proud queer man, I type that with sarcasm and exhaustion. It’s all the bad things—heteronormative, stereotypical, toxic, fragile masculinity. But as a grooming writer who knows his audience, I understand that guys are more apt to buy a product targeted at men as opposed to women. (And the same in reverse.)
While I delight in genderless, unisex brands that understand the mass market, I’m not suggesting grooming and beauty brands shy away from targeting a gendered audience. But target wisely: Don’t make up any facts. Don’t suggest this consumer was ignored or marginalized. He wasn’t. He was just too proud. But as his collective mind opens up, educate him on the functional benefits of the product and brand. After all, that’s the strong suit, since the very tenet of grooming is function. Men like function. Women like function. And we all like to feel included. So, unless you only want to target a hypermasculine audience with a fragile ego, then give us a campaign that includes all the faces of your target demographic. Your product isn’t as innovative as you wish it were, I promise you. But advertising sure as hell can be.
For what it’s worth, I look forward to War Paint’s next campaign, and hope they correct course. I suspect they will. Just as we editors and writers have learned and evolved with the industry—and just as we get to influence those evolutions—I’m happy to see brands grow and change with it, too.
For the time being, let me show you an ad that got it right. It’s from Harry’s. Here’s a brand that could be targeting both men and women with razors, but they’ve always honed in on men. The brand just sold for a billion dollars, so you really can’t convince anyone that this positioning was a bad idea. In this ad, Harry’s hasn’t left any of us out. It features all types of men, of varying skin colors, be they straight or queer, cis or trans, baby faced or fully bearded, young or not so very. What they did leave out is the misguided masculinity and the misinformation.
And, for good measure, here are some makeup products I like, and you might like, too. Some are targeted at men, some aren’t, and some land someplace in between. After all, what does it matter, if they all work effectively?

Todd Snyder just has a gift for finding the sweet spot between nostalgic romance and modern feasibility. His savvy blend of contemporary fashion with timeless style comes through in most of his designs—though we particularly love the collaborations. The brand’s latest collab with legendary watch brand Timex is one for the ages.
Introducing the Timex + Todd Snyder Welton Bi-Metal Quartz watch.
The story goes something like this: While browsing through the Timex archives one day, Todd’s eye was captured by a long-forgotten timepiece that seemed achingly familiar. But this was more than simple nostalgia. The Mercury looked just like the watch Todd imagined his own father wore. It had a silver face and a brown leather strap, with just a hint of gold. Somehow, the old Timex seemed rugged and elegant at the same time. Classy, but tough. Todd was determined to bring this overlooked classic back to life according to today’s exacting standards.
So to honor the memory and style of Todd Snyder’s father, and of every dad who wore a Timex with class and grace, the Welton Bi-Metal brings yet another classic into the 21st century. Just in time for Father’s Day.
The Perfect Father’s Day Gift
Originally named the Mercury, the new Timex + Todd Snyder Welton Bi-Metal ($ 158) retains the sleek, form-follows-function appeal of mid-century design while incorporating the latest in timekeeping technology. The original V-Conic has been replaced with quartz movement. A 34mm stainless steel case houses a brushed silver face with simple, elegant gold numerals and hands, and it’s capped by a domed acrylic crystal and adorned with a subtle 18mm lug. Bound with a brown leather strap, the aesthetic of the casual but classy Welton Bi-Metal hearkens back to the golden age of American design.
Water resistant up to 30 meters, the Welton Bi-Metal is perfectly sized and elegant without being flashy. It still exudes a rugged grace, and its style will let you take it from the office to the workshop without missing a beat. Of all the Timex + Todd Snyder collaborations, this is the one we’d most like to give—or get—for Father’s Day.
So here’s to dads everywhere. Thanks for showing us, day in and day out, that men can be rugged and classy at the same time.

By now you know about Allbirds, the San Francisco-based company that makes Merino wool shoes. Everyone raves about them: people love the style, the comfort, the carbon-neutral production. And we love Allbirds, too. That’s why we’re really excited to tell you about Allbirds’ latest promotion. Buy a pair of Allbirds today, and you can get a Merino wool Allbirds koozie, free!
Normally $ 10, Allbirds is throwing in a free koozie with every shoe purchase for a limited time. Turns out, the same merino wool that works so well at keeping your feet cool and dry (or warm and dry) is also great for keeping your beverage cold and your hand warm. Who knew?
So, while you’ve probably heard of Allbirds, have you tried the shoes yet? Then it’s time to find out what all the buzz is about. Give Allbirds a try today, and get your free koozie. If after 30 days you’re not confident that this is the world’s most comfortable shoe, Allbirds will take it back and refund your money, no questions asked. But please, keep the koozie.
The company is based on a simple plan: Better materials, better design, and responsible, sustainable production. That’s it. The sheep wool—20 percent finer than human hair—is responsibly harvested (and the sheep are treated very well, thanks). The manufacturing utilizes modern techniques to reduce energy and materials waste. The lightweight, comfortable soles are made of low-density foam that’s made with castor bean oil, for supreme cushioning and a lower carbon output compared to petroleum-based foams. The laces and eyelets are made using 100 percent recycled plastic, and the packaging is 90 percent post-consumer recycled cardboard.
And the shoes are as simple and clean as the production—free of gaudy logos and unnecessary embellishments that take away from what the product was designed for: to be the most comfortable shoe ever. And there’s the kicker: they’re machine washable.
There are only three Allbirds styles for men, and just two materials to choose from: Merino wool, or Allbirds’ proprietary knit that’s made using responsibly-farmed eucalyptus pulp. The shoes are broken up into two families: Wool, and Tree. The Wool is renowned for its temperature regulating and moisture-wicking softness that keeps your feet warm in cold weather, and cool in hot weather. The Tree, meanwhile, is designed for lightness and breathability. Best of all, the eucalyptus has that same cooling effect on your feet that it does in your nose when you breathe it in. Both are soft and not scratchy at all. And, of course, responsibly produced.
You can go for the Runners, active shoes designed with a lightweight, low-density foam outsole made for all-day comfort. Or you can opt for Loungers, comfy slip-ons with a super-lightweight sugar-cane SweetFoam sole. Those come in either the Wool or Tree material. Or you can choose the Tree Toppers, Allbirds’ version of high tops. That’s it. Pick your color, get your koozie, and start walking.
No flashy logos. No senseless details. Just the world’s most comfortable shoes, made naturally and designed practically. It’s that simple.
To get your free koozie, first, add it to your cart, then shop around for your perfect pair of Allbirds. Once your shoes are in the cart, the $ 10 price tag drops off the koozie. It’s all yours, free.

Not to be a downer, but 2019 could produce the hottest summer we’ve ever experienced. And while your comfort is far from global warming’s biggest victim, it is the one you have to manage every time you go for a hike, visit the farmer’s market, or spend a day touring a new city.
That’s why outdoor companies are doubling down on ultra-functional shorts: To make the best of a bad situation by liberating your legs from heat-trapping pants.
Here are the five best new shorts to wear this season.
The inimitable Kyle Chandler is on screens large and small this summer. He’s in for a monster haul at the box office with Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and streaming into homes across the U.S. with Hulu’s Catch-22.
But he’s making waves for more than just his acting chops. His textured hair has the volume and movement surfers dream of, as seen in Chandler’s June 2019 Men’s Journal cover shoot. It’s enhanced even further by gray hairs, and is an all-out showcase of his natural gifts.
It’s a look that’s easily imitated, too—with a few restrictions. It you want to sport Chandler’s hairstyle for yourself, then follow these tips from barber Eli Shaffer, of Blind Barber Highland Park. Shaffer outlines the kind of hair this style requires, how to modify it for a receding hairline, what to tell your barber, and, of course, how to maintain and style.
How to Get Kyle Chandler’s Hairstyle: The Kind of Hair You Need
Guys with medium-density hair will have the easiest time emulating this look, especially if they have natural waves or cowlicks, Shaffer says. “It doesn’t hurt to have a thicker head of hair, either,” he adds. “Chandler has a really amazing front cowlick that’s highlighted by a swath of gray hair. It’s super unique.”
Guys with gray hair will also enjoy the added texture: “The gray hairs lack melanin—the component that gives hair a hue. The two work together to give hair a lot of movement. For guys considering covering their grays, this is a great reason to embrace them.”
If you have a receding hairline, then Shaffer suggests keeping things loose and textured. “The trick to managing a receding hairline is to not cover it up. A natural recession can give a hairstyle character.”
Who is this style not for? Men with slick, straight hair. “This movement and texture is reserved for hair with natural waves,” Shaffer says. It’s something no product can help you emulate when your hair is medium-short like this.
What to Tell Your Barber
Ask for a classic taper, says Shaffer, and leave the clippers down. Get a scissor cut on the sides, approximately half an inch long. “The top is point cut, connected to the sides, with a round shape, approximately two inches long.” Your natural waves should be texturizing enough on their own, but the barber can further texturize the style with shears if need be.
How to Maintain This Style
As with most short or medium styles, you’ll want to visit your barber for a cleanup roughly every six weeks, says Shaffer. That could be shortened to four weeks if you want an especially clean perimeter, or eight if you don’t mind getting a little shaggy. But after that point, you really no longer have a “hairstyle” so much as a grown-out one. If you stick to 4-6 weeks, however, then Shaffer says to have the barber take off about half an inch, so that the shape and structure are maintained.
How to Style It
Again, your natural waves and thickness will work to your advantage here, so styling is fairly easy. Shaffer says to start by applying sea salt spray on clean, damp, towel-dried hair. The salt spray enhances texture and definition. “No blow dryer is needed and will actually work against some of the natural movement created in this style,” Shaffer adds. You should be able to coach it into place with your fingers. You could also comb it into place, then lift and separate it with your fingers for a piecier finish. Embrace the dishevelment: It only further showcases your waves and texture.
Are you plagued by sweaty feet? Don’t feel bad; a lot of guys have the same issue. The most important thing you can do to combat the problem is to get yourself some breathable shoes that give you the ventilation you need. Here are nine of the most comfortable, breathable shoes for guys with sweaty feet.
From training shoes that let you work out in comfort to casual summer slip-ons, there’s something for every guy here. We’ve even got shoes that allow you to dress up without encasing your feet in a cocoon of hot leather. If you’re looking for comfortable summer street hikers with the versatility to let you tackle the trails, we’ve got those, too.
There are great running shoes from Brooks and Under Armour, fantastic workout shoes from Nike, and comfortable, classic slip-ons from Vans. There are sharp versatile shoes from Forsake and OluKai, and the hottest shoe on the market from Allbirds. There’s even a funky sandal/slip-on hybrid from Men’s Journal footwear favorite Sanuk, at a price that’s certain to turn heads.
So take a look. The hot weather is here, and there’s no need to hide your feet in leather all summer long.
You’ve been asking your barber for “the usual” for too long now. These three styles are trending for spring, but they’re also fairly low-maintenance and easy to wear for most men. Whether you’re going for something with a little length or shorter on the sides, here are the best spring haircuts and styles to consider this season, according to three experts.
“Instead of that buzzed, faded look, where the sides go from thick at the top to sparse, opt for more allover evenness on the sides. It’s a very tailored, groomed look that’s still short.” — Oscar Blandi, celebrity stylist
“Have your barber use shears and razors instead of clippers for a rounder shape. To style, use a foam or pomade and blow dry and shape hair.” — Paul Wilson, American Crew’s global artistic director
Buzz Cut 2.0
“For fine hair, a choppy cut with a little length in front keeps you sharp. For texture, I like Acqua di Parma Serum—it’s great for all the hair on your head.” — Natalia Bruschi, celebrity groomer
Looking for more hairstyle and cut ideas? Here are 10 that always work that’ll help you get looks like Brad Pitt, Charlie Hunnam, and more.

We’ll tell you something you probably already know: Polo shirts aren’t just a uniform for the golf course. The simple three-button collared shirt is now available in more fabrics, patterns, and styles than ever before, and brands are experimenting with new interpretations of the menswear staple. Whether or not they’ve been in your rotation before, the latest crop of men’s polo shirts are making a strong case for spot in your dresser.
But as you’ll see below, there are lots of great options to choose from. Picking the right polo for you depends on a few different variables, so we reached out to stylists for guidance on what to look for. First off: Make sure you pick one that fits. Size up if the buttons are pulling, says Lisa Cameron, stylist to celebs like Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown, and make sure you have enough length to cover your stomach if you raise your arms up. But don’t go too baggy—a trimmer polo can accentuate your physique. “If you want to make your arms look a bit bigger,” says stylist Patrick Kenger, “find a polo with some ribbing around the end of the sleeves, which will hug your arms and help them ‘fill out’ the shirt sleeve.”
In addition, try to avoid shirts with lots of branding or big logos. “Keep it clean,” Kenger says.
Stylists agree the polo is a versatile shirt, and you can wear it with quite a few different outfits. For starters, try using it as a replacement for your usual T-shirt.
“One of the best ways I’ve heard it put is that a polo is a gentleman’s T-shirt,” explains Kenger. “If you want to bump things up from the usual T-shirt and jeans outfit, then a polo is a great substitute.”
It also looks great with a suit. You can opt for a monochromatic look by matching your polo with the suit’s color, or go for a complementary color scheme, like a navy suit and pink polo, Cameron advises. You can also try pairing a polo with a bomber jacket, or wearing it with a simple pair of chinos and some sneakers.
Feeling inspired? Here are some of the best new polos to mix up your look this season.

Could we love Taylor Stitch any more? It’s always been one of our favorite menswear brands. But today, Taylor Stitch doubled down on its responsible sustainability platform with the groundbreaking announcement of Restitch, a bold buyback program to give your clothes a second life and keep them out of landfills.
“Restitch is our response to the clothing industry’s overproduction issue,” says Mike Maher, CEO and co-founder of Taylor Stitch. “85 percent of all apparel ends up in landfills …. Through Restitch, there is no end of life—only end of use.”
Restitch is quick and seamless. Just download a shipping label at taylorstitch.com or visit a Taylor Stitch retail store to drop off your old Taylor Stitch clothes. You earn Common Club credit for every donation, from $ 15-$ 25, which you can then put towards the purchase of new Taylor Stitch gear. Your old TS gear is then reconstructed into fresh, one-of-a-kind garments that are resold at a fraction of the price as part of TS’s Vintage Collection.
How Does Restitch Work?
To kick off the program, Taylor Stitch tapped its devoted community, and received nearly 1,500 garments across outerwear, denim, shirting, knits, footwear, and accessories. From that first batch, the team has selected 42 pieces for its first ever Vintage Collection. Each item is a one-of-a-kind garment. From jeans to Henleys to Chore Coats to chinos, the Vintage Collection is awesome—and it’s already selling out. But never fear. Thanks to Restitch, it’s only a matter of time before the vintage Collection is restocked with more diamonds in the rough.
Since its launch in 2008, Taylor Stitch has been committed to making the world’s best clothing in a way that is kind to the people who make it, the places they make it in, and the planet. The company deploys a hybrid selling model, the Workshop, to bet big on proven winners and mitigate making things that ultimately end up as landfill. Restitch is a continued expression of this in that the program ensures the promise of clothing built to last for the long haul, while also dramatically reducing the company’s carbon, waste, and water footprint.

Boots and sneakers can leave feet looking, well, a little rough. If you’re contending with dry, flaky skin and deep calluses, there are quick and easy ways to condition your feet and so they’re healthy and looking their best. Put simply, you need a tool to help you exfoliate the skin, and something to moisturize your feet. Here are the best callus products to get them close-up ready.
First, use a pumice stone or callus file to gradually smooth down thick and rough areas. Skip the metal-toothed tools as they often cut too deep into the foot, says Alan Bass, a podiatrist in Manalapan, New Jersey. But don’t go nuts: Leave some callus behind, since they help protect against blisters while running.
To smooth out rough spots, we like the Gehwol Wooden Pedicure File.

Second, apply a water-based moisturizing lotion, morning and night, to reduce friction. Try the unscented Brickell Deep Moisture Body Lotion.

Nigel Sylvester is one of the biggest stars in the BMX world, known for taking his skills to the streets of cities across the globe. For proof, just watch his GO video series, which gives a first-person view of his rides, his incredible tricks, and all kinds of other shenanigans. In his latest video, however, he really ups the ante: In collaboration with Italian fashion brand FENDI (part of the brand’s “F is for… FENDI” project) he rides a FENDI FF-patterned bike on the roof of the company’s headquarters in Rome. Of course, he lands some incredible tricks while he’s up there.
Previously, the Queens native has brought his BMX prowess—and his impeccable style—to cities like Miami, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and New York. At each stop, he shows off his incredible skills on his bike and does tricks wherever he goes. By showcasing his adventures on social media and posting videos, he’s gained quite a bit of attention: He now has over 830,000 followers across his social accounts.
But his BMX talent isn’t the only on display in the video below. Sylvester wears a few ready-for-warm-weather looks, part of the FENDI spring/summer 2019 Men’s Collection, as he rides around the city. Take a look:
You can watch even more footage from the daring shoot on the @fisforfendi Instagram story, or you can find it on fisfor.fendi.com as well. And if you want to take some style tips from Sylvester, you can get the FENDI SS19 Men’s Collection now online.

Online box delivery services are, by their very nature, a gamble. You’re betting that you’ll love most (if not all) of what shows up in each box. But for myriad reasons, that doesn’t always happen. And that gamble is, we think, part of the fun. Bombfell, one of our favorite style concierges, takes the gamble a step further, by giving you odds on the wager. The more you love and keep from your Bombfell box, the more you get in Bombfell discounts. Ahh, now the game is, as Sherlock Holmes would say, afoot!
Seriously, though, no one signs up for a box service just to see if they can stump the stylist. There’s too much money at stake. The whole point is to buy clothes you love without having to go to a store. Bombfell does that for you, with an awesome selection of styles and designs selected by your own personal stylist. no matter your style, Bombfell hooks you up with snazzy dress clothes, comfortable casuals, and everything in between.
How Does Bombfell Work?
We really like Bombfell because it’s designed just for guys. The process begins with a quick survey of your normal work style: Formal (suits), Business Casual (slacks, button-downs), or just Casual (jeans, tee shirts). Then you answer a few questions about your size and fit preferences. Next comes a multiple choice quiz about where you normally shop for clothes: GAP, Brooks Brothers, Patagonia, Under Armour, Urban Outfitters, or elsewhere, followed by an array of outfits that you select or not, depending on your personal style.
Once Bombfell knows how you dress, it asks you about your budget, We particularly like this feature because Bombfell breaks it down to how much you’d spend for each article of clothing: t-shirts, dress shirts, jeans, khakis, jackets, shoes and accessories.c v By knowing how much you’d spend on each specific item of clothing, Bombfell now knows which garments you (literally) place more value on.
Using all that information, you’re then assigned a personal Bombfell stylist who sticks with you the rest of the way. Now, these stylists are real people with fashion industry experience—not robots or AI-driven technology. You can change stylists at any time, if you’re not satisfied.
And here’s where the fun begins. With Bombfell, you pay only for what you keep. So once your stylist has figured out your preferences, you get a list of items chosen just for you. At this point you can accept them or not, before they’re shipped out. And once they do arrive, you get seven full days to try them on, wear them around, see how you like what you’ve received. Then you keep what you want, and send back what you don’t (free shipping, of course). Bombfell charges a $ 20 Styling Fee for every box, which you can apply to your order if you accept any of the items.
Where Does the Savings Come In?
The more items in your Bombfell delivery that you accept, the larger discount you get. Basically, the more you keep, the more you save. Keep two items, and you can take 10 percent off; hold on to three, save 15 percent. Keep four or more items from your box and you can save 20 percent on your entire order!
So check out Bombfell. It’s one of our favorite, most personalized clothes box delivery services. We love that there are no subscriptions to keep up with, and no monthly fees. Just $ 20 per box, which you can apply to your order. But we love Bombfell because the more clothes you buy, the cheaper each item gets. That’s a safe bet no matter how you look at it.

Spring is that time of year when you go to grab your white sneakers but realize you wore them to the point where half of your shoe separates every time you take a step, the laces are about to snap, and cleaning them off just won’t do the trick anymore. In short, it’s time to invest in a new pair of kicks.
And if you’re like us, you want a pair of sneakers that look cool enough to wear with your favorite dress shirt and, once it’s Friday at 5 p.m., that vintage tee you scored on the cheap a few years ago.
Sure, there are tons of great white sneakers that fit the bill you can easily buy online right now. But no one really wants to drop money on a pair that doesn’t quite nail that perfect mix of dressy-meets-casual without looking like you’re heading to the gym for a bodyweight workout. Good news: J.Crew launched its new J.Crew x Nike Killshot 2 sneakers this month, and you can finally buy them online (well, if you’re not trying to buy a size 13).
Yes, you’ve seen them before, but the brand revamped one of its best-selling pairs of kicks this time around with what it calls a “sail green” swoosh logo. The suede-and-leather upper serves up some simple style with just the right amount of color, which makes them a little easier to dress up or down—we think they’ll look cool with that new spring suit. And if you’re not completely sold on that green Nike logo, you can still get them in the go-to navy-and-white version for the same price. They’re 90 bucks, but they’re the kind of shoes you’ll want to wear until they completely fall apart—that is, if you can get them before they sell out again.

If you want to clean up your facial hair for spring, look no further than the 1990s, says John Flemal of Urban Lift Salon in Chicago.
For some middle ground between clean-shaven and a lumberjack beard, heed Flemal’s advice. These three styles shape up your facial hair, whether you want to tame an unruly beard, accentuate sideburns, or rock a mustache.
1. Strong Sideburns
It’s a great transition for growing out a fade. The farther below the earlobe, the less conservative. The L-shape is trending, too; try this only with dense facial hair.
2. Beard With Attitude
Long, unruly beards are a cold-weather look. Hack yours into shape, leaving it thick on the sides and under the chin, and cleaning up around your lips.
3. ’Stache and Stubble
If you opt for a mustache, go small and pair it with stubble. Gradually trim a long beard short until you reach desired hairiness.
Ahh, summer. The sun, the sand, the … commitments. Look, you still gotta work, right? Not all the parties will be on the beach. Even though it’s going to be hot out, there are things to do and places to be where you can’t get away with cut-offs and a t-shirt. Where’s the best place to hook up summer wardrobe essentials that will go with anything and take you anywhere—without breaking the bank? Try J.Crew Factory.
J. Crew Factory is one of our favorite resources for summer staples. It’s much of the same gear you find at the regular J.Crew store, but at prices that are half (or more) less.
J. Crew Factory has a huge selection of summer essentials, from t-shirts and shorts to polos, lightweight jackets, accessories, and more. The styles are fresh, the colors are summer-ific, and the prices can’t be beat. There are tons of suits and jackets at great prices, too. Even tuxedos, for that wedding you still have to gear up for.
There’s even a fantastic selection of performance wear. From shorts and moisture-wicking shirts to athletic socks, if you’re tired of paying through the nose for top-flight activewear (or “athleisure”), you’ve got to go to the Tech Shop at J.Crew Factory. You’ll find all the same stuff you see at the swanky brand name stores, but at a fraction of the cost. And it’s all made by J.Crew, so you know it’s quality gear.
And the Clearance section! It’s chock full of staples like t-shirts, polos, and chino shorts that are perfect for summer. And right now you can get an extra 40 to 60 percent the already low clearance prices. But if you want to check out the Clearance section and score some amazing J.Crew deals, you’d better hurry. Colors, sizes, and styles are selling out, and fast.
So head over to J.Crew Factory right now and load up on some summer essentials. Because it won’t be long before summer’s here. It’s right around the corner. Here are some awesome items that caught our eye.
For men, finding the right dress watch is similar to finding the right suit. It should fit you well, reflect your personal style, and elevate your look in formal settings. But even if you don’t put on a suit very often, having a solid dress timepiece is a must.
“Every man needs very few accessories to look great in a formal setting—but a dress watch is one of them,” says stylist and watch expert Paul Frederick. “Instead of the bells, whistles, and bulk that come with sportier watches, a slim, classic dress watch adds polish without stealing the show.”
Also like a suit purchase, doing your research before you make the plunge is critical. Here’s what you need to know when adding a polished dress watch to your time-telling arsenal.
What Makes a Dress Watch
Most dress watches are recognizable by their slim profile and clean aesthetic, free of the many complications you’d find in a dive watch or a pilot watch. Many have a leather strap of some kind, be it calfskin, crocodile, or other exotic hides. However, there are some exceptions for finer steel bracelets, which typically give off a sportier vibe.
What to Look for in a Dress Watch
A dress watch should be around 40 millimeters in diameter or smaller. Look for a clean dial—darker is typically more formal—that’s simple and elegant but still eye catching. Unique leather straps will elevate your look, whether they’re embossed or real. Black and brown are the safe choices, but try a green or blue strap if you dare.
What to Consider Before Buying
First, think about how often you’ll wear this watch, and let that dictate your budget. However, you don’t want to drop a grand or more for a watch that you’ll only wear with a suit. Consider buying a more casual bracelet or strap as well so you can swap it out for a more laid-back vibe.
And although there are tons of modern dress watches to choose from, don’t forget vintage options. They tend to be compact and easy to wear with more formal attire. Sites like Chrono24 and Tourneau are good places to start.
How to Wear a Dress Wristwatch
Fit is crucial with dress watches because you’ll often be wearing it with long sleeves. “The slimmer a watch, the better, as these watches need to fit under your tailored sleeve cuff,” Frederick says. If you get custom shirts made, tell your tailor which wrist you wear your watch on so they can leave more room in the cuff.
If you’re right-handed, your watch’s crown and part of the case should barely peek out when standing at rest. When you bend your elbow 90 degrees or more, your jacket and shirt should reveal your whole watch. If this isn’t the case, wear your watch and suit to your tailor, and they can adjust it accordingly.
But don’t worry too much about breaking any style rules. The most important thing is loving the watch you buy.
