New music on the way?
The GOP is still trying to justify keeping Roy Moore as a Senate candidate instead of giving him the boot for being an alleged pedophile. The latest on this struggle is people calling for a boycott of Keurig—yes, the coffee machine maker—for having the audacity remove its ads from Moore apologist Sean Hannity’s show on FOX News.
Many are woke enough to know it’s probably Russian bots helping this suspect at best trending topic.
The Russian bots try hurting Keurig by trending #BoycottKeurig
Just like every company that Trump insults, the results will be the opposite. Keurig will have more sales than they ever did.
Let's get #DrinkKeurig trending!

lol #BoycottKeurig is a campaign in which republicans are more outraged at a coffee machine than at a child molester and his defense crew on Fox News.

Trumpsters have decided to #BoycottKeurig – If it goes anything like boycotting Starbucks, Target and Budweiser did, Keurig should see higher sales next quarter.

While voter apathy in these trying political times is very real, considering that orange moron in office, it appears that state and local elections are showing signs of change and progression despite it all. In seven American cities, history was made with all of them electing Black mayors for the very first time.
From The Washington Post:
First black female mayor of Charlotte: Charlotte Mayor-elect Vi Lyles’s father didn’t graduate from high school. She spent three decades as a city administrator before running for office.
First black mayor of Statesboro, Ga.: Jonathan McCollar
First black mayor of Cairo, Ga.: Booker Gainor
First black mayor of Milledgeville, Ga.: Mary Parham-Copelan
First black mayor of Georgetown, S.C.: Brendon Barber
First black mayor of Helena, Mont.: Wilmot Collins
First black mayor of St. Paul, Minn.: Melvin Carter
In addition, the city of Framingham, Massachusetts elected its first mayor ever in its 317-year existence with Yvonne Spicer assuming the new role.
It doesn’t end there with Elizabeth Guzman and Hala Ayala, both Democrats, elected to the Virginia House of Delegates. Joining them is the VA House of Delegates first Asian-American woman, Kathy Tran, also a Democrat. Andrea Jenkins also became the first Black transgender woman to hold public office after being elected to a Minneapolis City Council seat.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said what pretty much the rest of sensible football fans across the nation have said in noting the absence of free agent Colin Kaepernick not appearing on an NFL roster. The veteran pigskin slinger said that Kaep’s silent and peaceful protests last season is the reason teams have not signed him.
In a profile written by ESPN, Rodgers gets real about the arc of his career and the piece dives into the life of the West Coast native and current Los Angeles resident. During the profile, the conversation turns to Kaepernick’s absence from an NFL roster in where Rodgers offers a perspective shared by many.
I bring up Colin Kaepernick. It’s July, and the media are still speculating as to why Kaepernick isn’t on an NFL roster after kneeling during the national anthem last season to protest racial inequity in policing. The word “blackballed” is being used with greater frequency, though some people in and around the NFL maintain that the quarterback simply isn’t very good. I ask Rodgers what he thinks, and he demurs at first, then says it would be “ignorant” to suggest Kaepernick’s stance didn’t play a role in his employment status.
A few weeks later, he reaffirms his point. “I think he should be on a roster right now,” he says. “I think because of his protests, he’s not.”
Rodgers tells me that while he doesn’t plan on sitting out the anthem, he believes the protests — which he describes as peaceful and respectful — are positive, mentioning that he’s had conversations with a new teammate, tight end Martellus Bennett, about the issues they represent. “I’m gonna stand because that’s the way I feel about the flag — but I’m also 100 percent supportive of my teammates or any fellow players who are choosing not to,” he says. “They have a battle for racial equality. That’s what they’re trying to get a conversation started around.”

Marshawn Lynch might need to change his nickname from Beast Mode to Woke Mode, this after the Oakland Raiders running back remained seated during the playing of the National Anthem. During a preseason contest with the Arizona Cardinals, the 31-year-old NFL star sat on a cooler during the playing of the song but the decision was cleared with his coach, Jack Del Rio.
Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said he spoke with Lynch after the game and was not aware that he planned to sit.
“[Lynch] said, ‘This is something I’ve done for 11 years. It’s not a form of anything other than me being myself,’” Del Rio said. “I said, ‘So you understand how I feel. I very strongly believe in standing for the national anthem, but I’m going to respect you as a man. You do your thing, and we’ll do ours.’ So that’s a non-issue for me.”
Photos circulated on social media Sunday showing Lynch standing for the anthem during his Seahawks days, including for Super Bowl XLIX.
Raiders quarterback E.J. Manuel said the team supports Lynch, adding the decision was “more of a personal thing” for him.
While Lynch’s seating may or may not be a silent protest, he has mentioned free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick‘s politically-charged stances in the past.

Ireland Baldwin, the impossibly beautiful daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, already has a head start on the rest of us plebeians. So when she decides to pull a Beyoncé, you just know she’s going to do it better than most.
Indeed, when Ireland Baldwin “wakes up like this,” it’s topless on a beach in short shorts, with a Hello Kitty sleep mask and a surfboard. (Surfbort?)
